Tsering is a great person to host your stay. The rooms are cosy and everything including a perfect mattress for a good night sleep is taken care of. Food is great and they serve you even at 5AM. Perfect ambiance and real warm people.

Kaza (in fact entire Spiti valley) is a place where internet and mobile connection is a challenge. Most of the renowned Indian mobile operators don't have any service there except one operator (BSNL). The hotel has internet connection in a internet cafe kind of arrangement but service is not very reliable (not due to their fault) and that facility is chargeable too.
Secondly, i would suggest that if you really want to stay in touch with your dear ones, you should better buy a simcard of BSNL before entering Kinnaur and Spiti valley.
