After reading many positive reviews I booked this place and this was our first home stay . This place is situated on the middle of a hill and getting there is adventurous and the family will give you very warm welcome along with their super friendly pet dog pointy. The view from this place is nothing great . They serve all type of home cooked organic food.Though the family mingle with tourists very well but I feel sometimes interferes with our privacy. Compare to service and cleanliness prices are very high. Overall if you are missing Your family you can get this feeling here and

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Himalayan Orchard Huts in early July 2019. We were looking for a peaceful, simple place immersed in nature with good hiking opportunities and we were not disappointed. The Dhami family provided us with a knowledgeable hiking guide and we decided to spend 3 nights at their "trekking cottage" a property they own approximately at around 2000 mts altitude that we used as a base for our hikes. We were rewarded with beautiful views of snow capped mountains and a glimpse of life in the Himalaya. The accommodation is simple (even so the cottage), but clean. The home cooked food was just outstanding and employed only locally grown organic food. We even had the chance to participate in a cooking demonstration/lesson to learn more about the

My stay at Himalayan Orchard Huts along with my partner has been one of the most memorable holidays ever. With temperatures soaring as high as 50 degrees in cities across the Gangetic belt, the population was scurrying over to the nearby hill stations for some respite. Me and my partner while wanting to do the same, however, did not want to end up at a place that was overcrowded and generic in nature. In our search for an offbeat experience, we landed up at Himalayan Orchard Huts, a cozy homestay nestled among beautiful hills on the outskirts of the main town of Chamba. Surrounded by plum and apricot orchards, hills with plentiful vegetation and pastures, and skirted by the Sal river, the location of this place is perfect for a calm and quiet stay, away from the synthetic world.

We ( me and my friends ) spent 7 beautiful days with the Dhami family who treated us with love and affection. The hospitality portrayed by them is above all praises. I thank them eternally for the wonderful trip which became possible for all of us just because of them. Will heartily recommend the place to all. Thank you all from whole my family's side, for their sweet gesture and memories/moments that we shared together.

I spent four nights at the lovely Orchard Huts during April as a solo traveller with the purpose of unwinding and relaxing amidst nature. The location is spectacular, set amidst green terraced hills and apricot trees, with the most gorgeous views of snow capped mountain ranges. My spacious guestroom was very comfortable with a wonderful terrace overlooking the valley. The food was delicious, with lots of variety and special local dishes made with love by the Dhami family from organic produce grown at the Huts. I was made to feel like a member of the family and my days were spent reading on the terrace, hiking the trails surrounding the property, chatting with the Dhamis and feasting on their abundant meals. I also had a day trip into Chamba town and visited the quite
