I lack words to express how beautiful and wonderful this place is. It's so beautiful and so peaceful. It nourished my soul. The family looked after us like their own and dhami uncle told us so many wonderful things and stories about the place. We also met his family and everyone was so warm and welcoming and went out of...

Chamba is a charming place not yet infested with tourists yet offering so much - beautiful views, rich history, close proximity to Dalhousie and a chance to stay at Himalayan Orchard Hut! Once me and my wife chose Chamba for our short vacation the reviews on TripAdvisor pushed us to book a stay in this homestay. And so we ended...

Visited Chamba with my family in September, 2016. The property is set up on the top of the hill and there is a 20 minute steep hike up the mountain. They send their guys to help with the luggage which is very kind. Please remember, this is a home stay and not a guest house or hotel. The hospitality is...

We had the good fortune to spend three nights recently at Orchard Huts, which is really not about huts at all, but more like a family inn. The guest rooms are spacious, each with a clean, modern bathroom. The hike down from the road, across a bridge over a pretty stream, and then up the mountain on the other side...

I knew almost nothing about the Chamba valley or about Hinachal in general before I spent three nights at Himalayan Orchard Huts, and now I’m full of enthusiasm! The Dhami family who host this homestay all contribute their own particular skills to ensuring that the pleasures of Himachal are introduced to visitors like me who mostly know India’s “hyped” (and...

This homestay is really THE complete package. Right from the moment you step out of the car and start the 30 minute trek up to the Dhami home, you know you're in for something special and unique. Pros:- 1) Authentic local Chamba home. You actually get to taste their local cuisine (Pahadi Khana) made with much care by Mrs. Dhami....
