Very good hotel - thoroughly enjoyed the extra activities such as the clay pot making, the documentary around tiger safari and the musician that played traditional Indian music with an instrument. The staff were all very friendly and wanted to ensure we had a fantastic stay

We stayed in mount valley resort for 2 nights and the property is well maintained. The staffs are courteous and accommodative. Everyone is there to offer you personalised service. Vikrant at the front desk is very welcoming and ensures guest requirements are met. Dharam Singh & Ankit from F&B team are also very hospitable. We highly appreciate the efforts put by everyone in making our stay memorable.

Friendly, helpful staff. Always greeted with a smile. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is phenomenal. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel! There is a praised areas where they show a documentary each night at the park. The meals ate geared around your safari time so you get your breakfast and dinner no matter what time you return. The staff is happy to call you to remind you it is meal time. We felt at home here.

There was a serious case of malpractice at MountValleyey during our recent experience. We booked our hotel stay for the long weekend of January 26-28, four months in advance through booking.com. The platform allowed free cancellation until two days before our arrival, with the entire payment to be made directly at the hotel, and no advance payment required. Our only obligation was to provide credit card details to secure the booking. About a month before our scheduled stay, we received an email from booking.com stating that our card had been invalidated. After reentering the card details, we received a similar email, only to discover that the issue was initiated by the hotel itself. When we contacted the hotel reservation desk, the reservation officer, who consistently spoke rudely on the phone, persuaded us to make an advance payment, contrary to booking.com's terms. The insistence on an unnecessary advance payment, coupled with subtle threats about cancellation, raised concerns. Despite making the advance payment as a precaution, the reservation officer became unresponsive after receiving our payment details. Calls and messages went unanswered, and even alternate numbers provided by the hotel directed us back to the reservation officer as the final authority on bookings. After a week, we received a response citing issues with the hotel's bank, promising a payment confirmation within 48 hours. However, the reservation officer continued to speak rudely on the phone, failing to follow through and repeating the same excuse for weeks. The constant delays, lack of communication, and the rude demeanor left us anxious, especially since we were traveling with a toddler. The fear of being stranded during a busy long weekend at Ranthambhore was unsettling. When faced with unhelpfulness from the reservation officer, we took extensive measures to resolve the situation. After considerable effort, we managed to obtain the hotel manager, CP Singh's number from the WelcomHeritage group's helpline. It was only through persistent pursuit and resourcefulness that we were able to establish contact with the manager to address the ongoing issues. It took approximately 20 days from the initial payment for us to finally receive the payment receipt, bringing a resolution to this distressing situation. Needless to say, this experience has left us with no intention of recommending this hotel to anyone or ever staying with them again. Kudos to Manager CP Singh, however. He quickly provided the payment confirmation when we eventually reached out to him. He also made special arrangements to ensure our stay at the hotel was comfortable. Kudos to him for his professionalism and outstanding service.

We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel and it was very comfortable considering we were travelling with 2 senior citizens and a 1 year old child. Rooms have all basic amenities and they can provide anything more readily if needed. Their restaurant is good too, breakfast very good with a lot of vegetarian options that tasted great. We could get non spicy food for our baby from the restaurant and the breakfast also had good non spicy options for him. They had organised a pottery session one morning which was a good experience. Location is great, the approach road is the maid road and it’s a 10 min drive from the national park & fort. Has a lot of restaurants nearby. All in all, a good stay within budget with all your basic amenities and comforts covered.

I recently had the misfortune of booking a stay at WelcomHeritage through Booking.com for my vacation. My experience with this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn fellow travellers. Booking Process: I made a reservation three months in advance through Booking.com. About a month before our trip, the hotel started claiming that my credit card details were invalid. This was a baseless claim aimed at avoiding paying commissions to Booking.com. Instead, they insisted on an advance payment to their personal bank account. The communication was not only unprofessional but also downright rude. Fearing a potential cancellation, we reluctantly complied with their demand. Unethical Payment Tactics: The hotel's demand for an advance payment to their personal account was unethical and immoral. We never received any confirmation of the payment being received or whether our booking was still valid. This left us anxious and uncertain about the status of our reservation so close to our travel date. This is a clear breach of trust and a questionable business practice. Lack of Transparency: The lack of transparency in their dealings is deeply concerning. As guests, we have a right to know the status of our reservations and the details of any financial transactions. The hotel's failure to provide this information added unnecessary stress to what should have been an enjoyable vacation. Lost Personal Items: Adding to our woes, I accidentally left my very expensive pair of sunglasses in the room during checkout. I am certain I left them in the room, as I specifically went up before dinner the previous night to store them. When I contacted the hotel upon realising my mistake, they callously denied finding anything. This is not just a loss of a valuable item but a clear indication of the hotel's lack of integrity. Their unethical business practices, lack of transparency, and dishonesty regarding lost items have tarnished what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering this establishment.
