The glory of hotel naveen it had from 1990's till 2005 , it has gone to the dogs , The hotel is a disaster , it is now run by management trainees from hotel management , who are recruited at peanut prices and are not experienced . A very good hotel and nice ambience. The property is right opposite the lake and the view from the room is great. The hotel is very spacious as well. The breakfast menu has a variety dishes. 2 improvement areas are room service staff response and unlike other regular dining practise spoon/ fork/ knife was not on the table, not even a glass.

Stayed at the Naveen while on a tour to Dharwad for three nights.The location is beautiful next to a lake away from the busy Hubli,it is located on the Hubli Dharwad highway.Well,that itself can be cumbersome for certain people as commuting becomes a challenge.There is no cab or auto stand near the hotel for you which makes it difficult in case you want to go to Dharwad or Hubli.The hotel also does not help in organsing transport for that matter.To make it worse Ola or Uber does not work in Hubli and Dharwad at all. The check in was smooth and quick and the hotel has a pick and drop facility for the airport,however you need to inform them well in advance,as the trips they can arrange are pretty limited.The staff in the hotel starting from the restaraunt to the housekeeping are pleasant nice people but they aren’t probably trained well enough.Housekeeping was at times too slow. The rooms are decent enough with simple decor and pretty well priced.Food wasn’t that great at the breakfast.…

On arrival at the reception we were asked if we were married. When we confirmed , we were asked to prove our marriage.When we showed our wedding photos they ridicule you by asking for marriage certificate. It sickening to think where there are coming from.Could sue them for discrimination. Use of "Gateway" with their hotel name could deceive you into thinking it would be a Taj property. Hence do your self a favour and find a better place. You could experience way better hospitality and hygiene at this price point.

Superb ambience, good hospitality right from the main gate,the door keeper and front staff. Even arranged to take a sick friend to hospital .made another friend 's day by arranging a cake. Shruti and another staff gave a surprise visit to the room. Enjoyed our stay, wish we could stay longer. And not to forget the excellent food. And the drop to the Airport.Thankyou hotel Naveen

It is probably one of the best hotels in the city. Located bang on the lake giving fabulous views Service is great ; rooms are sufficiently large. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely recommend for families

A very good hotel in Hubli. Spacious rooms and everything was well done. Definitely a 4 star service. Breakfast is good and the view of the lake from the rooms is superb. Definitely recommend it to the travellers

delicious food, very helpful staff, great location for relaxing, recommendations in F&B from smiling Rajesh were too good. Negatives thou were the tired rooms that require a lot of maintenance & deep cleaning is a must, pillow covers are smaller than the pillows and look old, duvet covers although clean look dirty due to the faded colour. Sheer curtains torn, balcony/wardrobe light not working, lamp shade torn, rug looks old!!
