The typical old fashioned places, which are successful because of their location and proximity to important business places. Rooms are neat and spacious and give the feeling of a 90s hotel. Warm water for morning bathing was without any hassles or phone calls, as it usually happens in such hotels. The mattress was comfortable. I slept off the moment I crashed on to the bed. Maybe the mattress or a tiring day, but had a sound sleep. The breakfast starts only at 8 AM. If you are planning to leave early, they won't have any option. Billing is also a tad bit slow. No complaints.

Hotel is around 10 minutes from railway station. When we arrived we were not allowed to stop our vehicle near the entrance as some road digging was on. We were sent to the parking area some minutes away. Inspite of my request of allowing just a minute to unload we were rudely sent to the parking area. We had around 5 to 6 bags and would have appreciated assistance. Unfortunately, poor coordination between the parking staff and reception meant that we had to carry all the luggage ourselves. This is an area of improvement. The check in was smooth and staff cooperative. I was upset for the shoddy job at the parking lot, but they covered up with instantly organizing assistance. The rooms were comfortable. There is a complimentary breakfast, however, they do not have a buffet system, rather a we have to select from the options available in different categories. The serving time is approx 15 to 20 mins which is not acceptable specially if your hungry. Overall average place within modest budget. But hospitality has to improve. Should not keep customers waiting.

I stayed here on 19th Sep while on a business trip, in room no 215. The accommodation is decent with clean and spacious rooms. The complimentary breakfast served is good and is hygienic. However for the tariff of INR 1950/- for single occupancy it is desirable that at least you get a dental kit in addition to the two small size bath soaps. The complimentary drinking water in rooms is of good quality. However the sleep quality is not good since the outside sound of moving vehicles and construction work is quite loudly audible in rooms. Also the sliding windows do not get closed properly. Wifi signals are feeble and you need to ascertain from the reception.

I had to stay in Hubli with a visit intended for a business purpose. I choose to stay at Hotel Ananth Residency for the second time in 6 months. I was rather impressed by the hotel services for the first time when I had stayed here in December 2018. This time my booking was offered with a complimentary breakfast. To begin with, the bookings are hassle free and can be made over telephone. Please confirm your exact arrival time to the front desk, my train was late by 3 hours and I made sure to keep the front desk informed about it. I arrived at 12 midnight and Chek-in was smooth with a simple form to fill in. The hotel's housekeeping steward escorted me to my room since the lobby lights were switched off. I collected my amenity kit at the front desk itself instead of insisting it through a room service. The room was very neat and well maintained as I had asked for a room next to LIC building, as it offers noise free ambiance. Please ensure to re-chek the working condition of the Air Conditioning unit, as it takes some time to operate perfectly. Mine was not working I had to forget it and go to bed as it was too late to ask for a room service at midnight. The next day morning post fresh-up I headed to have my breakfast buffet. (The same was not offered the previous time) The menu consisted of standard items of continental and South Indian items including bread toast, corn flakes, idly, dosas, upma and kichdi. Fresh fruit juice, coffee and tea were also offered. Unlike popular culture Medu Vada is not served for breakfast over here! I came back to my room in the late evening. The room service is very quick and my request for a toast jam and coffee was served within 10 minutes to the room. As mentioned earlier, rooms towards LIC building side of the hotel offer noise free ambiance and if available please opt for it. I had to leave by 6.30 pm train and thus I checked-out at 5.40 pm. As the Railway Station is hardly 2 minutes away I choose to walk to the railway station and this is the best advantages of staying in this hotel as it close by to the railway station!

The hotel is located near the railway station and the bus stand. Parking is available in a small ground opposite the hotel, which is manned by the security. Rooms are standard size and very clean. The hotel also has a pure veg restaurant and also a bar. The veg food is excellent. Buffet breakfast is pure veg and has good variety but only of south Indian dishes. Service is very good and reception staff are very helpful. Wifi is also good. The only downside is the non-HD television set and very limited number of channels. The room tariff is very reasonable and so its great value hotel.

I was @ Hubli stayed at Ananth Recidency. I Was there with a 2 year old son. It has good, clean rooms. Nothing fancy, every thing basic and every thing works. Everything seemed to be clean including the washrooms. Food was ok in taste and quality was good. Would definitely recommend people to stay there.

The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are spacious but could do with a little renovation. The breakfast buffet had three dishes .There is a car park opposite the hotel. The business district is in a walkable distance.

We stayed for an overnight family trip at Ananth Residency. We had requested for a tele-chek-in and the chek-in process was very smooth. Staff is very courteous and is adequate in strength to meet the guests requirements including room service and concierge, We were allotted a room on first floor but we requested for an another room due to noise from adjoining building. Rooms are good but there needs to be an improvement to reduce noise level inside the rooms. Guests are offered two complimentary water bottles, newspaper and fresh-up kits upon arrival. Unlike popular culture, complimentary breakfast is not offered despite paying good room rent for an overnight stay. But the hotel has a spacious veg restaurant and breakfast is good. Feedback may be given directly to the Hotel or Management as we happened to meet a nice gentleman, the partner, whose office cabin is located to the front desk. Parking facility is available. The hotel is at a walking distance from Hubli Railway station and is located behind LIC office and next road to Hubli GPO. An auto rickshaw stand in opposite to the hotel itself, so it is easy to get around from the hotel. The Hotel is further suggested to introduce the popular concept of 'buffet breakfast' as a complimentary option. It is also suggested to reduce the noise level in the rooms as the hotel is located in a prime commercial locality- to help ensure to improve sleep quality in the rooms.
