The Solluna Resort is situated in the splendid valley of Marchula, where it incorporates the beauty of the sun (Sol) as well as the moon (Luna) as these are visible together at the same time at dusk. The resort being situated in a valley on the bank of river Ramganga gives birth to a micro-climate of its own. The valley encapsulates the whole of the resort and the view gives an impression of the world starting from one end of the valley and finishing at the other end. At Solluna, one can enjoy the majestic sight of an enlightening sunrise, the calming sunset and the slowly spreading moonlight with a clear sky full of stars. The ever-inspiring natural beauty of the place awakens all the sensory responses allowing us to be a part of nature. The whole resort has been planned in accordance to our basic five senses, namely Vision, Smell, Taste, Touch and Hearing as well as the five elements namely Earth, Water, Sky, Fire and Air. In today's dynamic world, living in the fast and hectic city life takes away one's own self. The overall concept of the resort is an attempt to activate one's senses while being in the untouched natural environment. No disturbing cell phones, no television in cottages, no daily newspaper on the doorstep. Live your time in a paradise without any tensions following you. Equipped with the state of art corporate facilities and with the top of the end luxurious comfort entitles Solluna to be a destination for both business travelers as well as for peace seekers. The superior quality services offered in a warm ambiance presents an unforgettable experience to our guests.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
We visited The Solluna resort at the fag end of March, 2023. We were looking for a resort at Jim Corbett and with the positive reviews of The Solluna resort on the net, we zeroed on the same.
And as per its reputation, it met up to its expectation and it turned out to be a wonderful experience for us!
The most striking feature about the resort is its location on the bank of river Ramganga surrounded by lush greenery and well manicured lawns.
All the staff were most courteous and ever eager to help to make you feel comfortable. The happy vibes of the staff was contagious. The hospitality was superb.
The rooms were clean, spacious and the apartments were picturesquely places. The chirping of the birds made the feel even more heavenly.
The food was awesome, appropriately spiced. The Chefs were wonderful. The food they cooked as per our palate made us feel more at home. The staff serving at the restaurant were most courteous and ever smiling. On our personal request, the Chef had prepared kumaoni chicken curry one day, which was simply superb. The taste will linger in my soul for long!
The resort arranges for a nature trail every morning. It too turned out to be a wonderful experience. The guide was wonderful. The most affable was Julie, a dog that accompanies the walkers every morning without fail. The enthusiasm with which Julie would lead the way at places made the walk more memorable.
The high tea, followed by a documentary on wild lives on the projector made it more special. The guitarist cum singer along with the bonfire also made the evenings more pleasant.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we came back with many fond memories!
I thank everyone of the staff with deep gratitude for making our stay so memorable.
With warm regards,
Dr. Prasanjit de.

Visited solluna after seeing one of my acquaintance's pictures on social media. I had a beyond surreal experience at the resort and recommend everyone to visit there at least once. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was good too and the chef were considerate enough to customize the dish according to our taste.
The staff were super friendly.
The one thing I loved about solluna was the experience you get to experience there. If you love nature then solluna is the place for you as the beauty of the resort will leave you awestruck.
The fun filled activities that happen at the resort were enjoyed by us too and same kept us occupied bcoz of which we didn't get bored and feel the need to leave the resort for some outing.
Highly recommend visiting solluna resort.

+1
If you like to chill and relax then Solluna Resort is one of the best place to visit. It is bit far from main city but worth spending another 30mins drive from the city chaos.
We were bit doubtful on the safety and hygiene part at hotel but once I enter the property we feel that we came to right place. The staff is well trained on safety and hygiene which always wears safety gear.
The resort offer evening bonfire in a lawn along with snacks(chargeable) along with a wildlife movie and live Karaoke.
I will not thank any individual staff but all staff of the Solluna for providing such a wonderful experience.
Just a small suggestion to improve a bit on snacks provided during bonfire apart from that we enjoyed the resort and didn't feel to go anywhere.
Thanks Team Solluna wish to be there soon.

We recently stayed at Solluna and I am writing this review as it was an amazing stay amidst nature.
Wonderful resort surrounded by lush green mountains, within the forest giving access to river alongside. We enjoyed every minute spent here. It was totally a healing retreat to heart, mind, body and soul.
The resort also has various activities like nature walk, organic farming, cycling, evening tea, games, billiards, table tennis, carrom, chess, Basket ball and what not to keep the guests entertained. We enjoyed our visit to Solluna waterfall and the musical evening.
Hospitality was great. Staff members - especially Neelam assisted us throughout our stay personally taking care of our requests. Brajesh on the other hand, was also very cooperative and fulfilled our requests whether to clean the room, or take us to the nature walk as a guide or showing us property.
How can I forget to write about food, it was sumptuous and delicious too.
Due to the all the above reasons and many more, I even extended my stay here at Solluna since it was completely an enriching experience overall. I will certainly be planning to visit this resort again in near future.

This was our second visit to this place and it was as wonderful as last time. In fact on this occasion, our cottage was upgraded on complimentary basis which was icing on the cake. Besides being a lush green resort amidst dense jungle, several activities like tambola, cricket football, badminton, cycling, carrom, table tennis, musical chairs, wildlife movie etc. kept the kids busy throughout. Only thing they need to work on is the access road, it's an adventure driving for the last 200 metres. And finally, if the alacarte snacks during evening could have been more reasonably priced, it would have been a 10/10.

It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and during the Pandemic times , Solluna was a safe location to spend memorable time with the family .The services provided are unmatchable and starting from front desk to restaurant and house keeping, every one was so courteous to help and serve to our entire satisfaction. The property though remote, offers every best possible facility and delicious food . The rooms are well maintained and also the resort wears a definite green look well covered with flora and fauna. The river side also adds to the beauty and offers chance of spending leisure time.
The wonderful gesture of planting a Sapling during checkout was a truly wonderful gesture which felt like an highlight of our stay at Solluna Resort !
Would love to have another chance here for a Leisure Stay !

I visited this resort with three other couples along with kids ranging between age 3months to 8 years. The moment you enter the place it will give good postive vibes, the open area is in middle of mountains and rover side which enhance to its aura. Good ambience , children friendly, cottages are comfortable though the flooring is such that floor looks get dirty soon due to mountains sand and rain. They arrange some games in the evening after high tea which all age group can enjoy. The food was not very good the first day but when we raise our concern to manger (Himanshu) he made sure that we enjoy our all meals ..the food then turned to be so yum. He was so humble and courteous that he made sure guest are comfortable and enjoyed to the fullest. They also have rain dance time and pool is also clean where kids can enjoy to fullest. Play area is huge that you can enjoy from cricket to rooms games, all games for all age group.
The only difficult part to reach this place is the drive way from main road to the gate of resort , due to heavy rains that strech of 100m is a roller coaster ride at the moment but I am sure management will get it repair soon.
Overall relaxing , away from city hustle, good place to enjoy your holiday. And the credit of enjoying the stay I would also give to Himanshu manager who did his best to make guest happy.👏👏

So I'll try to keep this brief:
1. We stayed here in the first week of Jan 2020, initially we were a little skeptical about the digital detox and no network etc, but after day 1 we got used to it. So be prepared to get disconnected completely. (Suggestion: Atleast try and get a network at the reception for emergencies)
2. Resort is big and full of nature, you can see monkeys and birds visiting now and then at the restaurant when you eat. Mr Chandan at F&B was very helpful and Mr Manoj the resort manager even arranged for a private live music for us by one Mr Alok.
3. If you are visiting in peak winter be ready for the cold. We were given a delux (i guess) room, one above the basic, and the heater was not enough for the chill.
(Suggestion: Atleast have 2 heater points or get a bigger heater or a central heater in place. We require that for the price we pay)
4. The staff were very courteous and always tried to do the best they could ..be it heater or food or drive around the river etc. 5 stars for the staff.
5. Finally the best part of the place is they got my daughter to plant a tree with her name on it. Felt great !!
So yes. Overall it was a good experience (sans the heater part) else would have given 5 stars for the digital detox concept.

A delightful experience is assured in this resort due to highly trained staff and best quality food. They'll be willing to give you best experience of your stay. Property is nicely built. They ll propel you to walk and enjoy the beauty of nature by not providing wifi or television or food delivery to your room.
Restaurant part is the best stuff they got. Even they arranged a special candle light dinner, when they noticed that we are not satisfied with family tables in lounge.
We stayed in deluxe and presidential suite rooms. Premium and deluxe fragrance room are almost the same, except for complimentary services.
Beware of Rupali - the number google will provide you for this resort will connect you to rupali. She is so buisness minded, she ll make you by giving offers and act like she is giving these offers to you by crossing the line, but they will be applicable for every person who booked a room there. Just make sure to talk clearly the terms and conditions of your stay while talking to rupali. Even she denied breakfast on the last day of our stay, while before booking, she said breakfast will be complimentary.
