One of the most relaxed holiday we had in the nature's paradise. We stayed for a week and it was kind of home. Warmth, food, care, services, our villa and the safety we experienced is unforgettable and one of the best memories we could capture. We are extremely impressed with the hygiene standards and the way they have applied the safety measures during this corona. Our Buttler took very special care of all our needs and always stood promptly during all our food and room cleaning services.
Unforgettable sojourn. We recommend this resort to be the most safe place to spend time with family.

We booked our accomodation via the Leisure Hotel reservation number. They gave us the best rates (better than any of the travel apps) . There were recommendations basis the number of people and kids traveling. We booked the cottage which has a ground floor bedroom, living area a small kitchenette and stairs connecting the upper bedroom and balcony. It's a good choice for a family looking at luxury and budget in one. On arrival, we changed the bookings in favour of the Premium rooms that have a 2 bedroom set with living area and kitchen all on the ground floor. These are the newer rooms and have a luxe feeling. The resort is located on the main road and is not a problem for Google Maps to locate. It took us 5.5 hrs from Noida to reach. The property is lush green and offers direct access to river Kosi. The reception building gives way to the cottages and the premium rooms are further away from the main entrance. The restaurants (all 3) are midway and so is the swimming pool and a small area for board games (carrom, Ludo, chess etc). Food from the restaurant offers a lot of variety, we were there for 4 days and had all meals in house. There is a change in menu and weekend had a kids menu as well. Meals were mostly fabulous with a few exceptions. The masala chai is a must every morning and evening. You can enjoy it with the Flute or Guitar (depending on the hour). The Kosi deck (bar and restaurant) has a decent cocktail menu, we had drinks by the river (liked 3 of the 4 cocktails). The staff is courteous and looks after the guests. We specifically chose Rakhi weekend as there was low occupancy. Guests are mostly seen without masks and the restaurant has space for maintaining social distance. The pool was crowded in the morning. We did venture at a time when it was idle. The resort is beautiful, serene, has ample food choices, music AND a river which we could not get enough of. We didn't go anywhere out, having carried some board games and books, nothing else seemed to lure us away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (4 adults and 3 kids) and may return in the future to enjoy more of the Riverview.

This was our 4th trip to the Riverview Retreat at Corbett and every time we visit the experience gets better.
After a lot of worrying about Covid virus precautions, we took the decisions to visit the Riverview Retreat at Corbett from December 26th to December 30th, we were 2 adults and 2 kids and had the time of our life. The best weather, the best atmosphere with bonfire and music, the best food, the resort, the river and the greenery and freedom to travel after a long time…..what more can one ask for.
Our fears about the Covid precautions were unfounded, as we noticed that the resort management had taken more than adequate precautions – everyone was wearing masks, there were sanitizers all over the place, our luggage etc was disinfected and since the resort is so large there was adequate social distancing.
The Resort Manager – Mr Ajay Kareer and the Resort Management must be credited for putting together an excellent team and we recognized quite a few faces from our previous visits. The staff at the resort are extremely friendly and ever smiling…amongst many, the following are the resort gems:
Krishna – who made the evenings come alive with his singing and his guitar, he sang and the guests sang along with him.
Manmohan Bahadur – the tambola master of ceremonies – Manmohan wise quips, jokes and interactions with the guests were great fun.
The chefs – what food and buffet spread….I am going back to eat the chicken curry, whenever time permits….somehow the eggs especially taste better in the hills…
The gardeners – the greenery at the resort is a sight for sore eyes, the trees and the plants looked healthy and well maintained. The gardens with the river next to it can make person sit there for hours.
The facility team – they ensured that the bonfires kept burning till the time the guests were sitting there.
We loved the visit and will be visiting there soon.

Riverview resort has wonderfully addressed covid concerns and it feels a blessing to be out is the lush green environment back again . The Riverview Retreat at Corbett is an excellent choice for an overnight stay, just outside the entrance to Corbett National Park. The property is well maintained with a huge lawn on the river. Rooms are very nice and clean with a large, comfortable bed for one or two people. However, my traveling companion and I requested a twin room as we are not a couple, but were told on arrival that they didn't have any. So, they brought in a wooden frame and single padded mattress and made it up. It squeaked every time someone moved on it, but was sufficient for the night. If you are two people looking for separate beds, you might look elsewhere.
Having said that, the room was excellent, the bathroom had a glassed in shower with all amenities and soft towels. Dinner and breakfast were buffet with eggs to order in the morning and all sorts of interesting Indian dishes for dinner.
There was also excellent, and very strong, internet all over the entire property.
The staff was generally helpful, but, as is often the case in India, could not make change for a 200 Rupee note, which most ATMs spit out.
Overall, a very nice property and option, and I can recommend it with the single caveat detailed above.

I stayed in crvr resort along with my friends during june 2020. First we were scared of the arrangements they would have made during this pandemic but they took all the standard precautions and sanitary mesaures. The car and the luggage was properly sanitized before delivering our luggage to the room. The food was hygienically delivered to the room. In all, it was a great experience even in these hard times.

Riverview Retreat is definitely one of the Top Notch Resort, not only in Dhikuli, Jim Corbett National Park, Ramnagar but also in India. Very large, spacious and well furnished cottages alongwith very well prepared Meals/Food comparable to the top 5 stars in the country. Though food choice and taste is very personal matter, I liked the perfectly balanced spices in the meals. Also, like their customized dishes. I opted for B/F, Lunch, Tea and Dinner package and it was simply Delight to relish a wide variety of cuisine. Mutton Do Pyaaza/Bhuna Gosht, Mushroom Florentine(Spinach), Salads, Tea time snacks, Breakfast layout, Lipsmacking Desserts and soft breads were just amazing. Also, the dining deck overlooking the Koshi River was stunning. The resort has a beautifully preserved and well curated Green space with some of the most exotic variety of trees, birds, vast garden spaces, games area with TT, badminton, swimming pool, library and a long stretch overlooking river Koshi was spell binding. The old charm and contemporary spaces make this Resort very unique. The Resort Team/Staff is very experienced, sincere, knowledgeable and professional and I felt very secure throughout my stay. Every night, I strolled around the resort campus for hours, enjoyed the cool breeze and felt safe that every corner and pathway were well illuminated. The top management is really visionary. Mr. Dinesh Joshi is very helpful, a wonderful person always ensuring one has a pleasant stay! Mr. Anthony from operations was hands on, the Chefs in the restaurant made my day with some exquisite dishes, Nirmal from Services tried real hard to make guests like me happy, the Front Desk was very prompt , the concierge was very resourceful. The property is a Must visit for 1st timers! Regulars are surely regulars as they know the value at this heaven. As this property is heavily booked throughout the year, do make an advance booking or you will be disappointed to miss it. The costs are very reasonable as there are lots of value adds that you would discover in the Resort. Looking forward to visit again with family and friends. Best place to stay specially in covid time location excellent rooms ( premier) very neat and clean lot of open space we enjoyed a lot Panday ji ka tea stall in morning 7-10 and evening 5-7 . We went to this property from 9th March till 12 th March.We stayed in a double room cottage. This property has very good restaurants,food and lawns(pool was closed due to COVID restrictions).Especially the view of Kosi river with trees and forest is breathtaking. But there rooms are in need of urgent revamp,the infrastructure is tottering,the bathrooms fittings are very very average but their staff is very hospitable and serve with a smile. All in all this could be an excellent property only if they revamp their rooms otherwise the price they are charging is too high.

I visited the resort with my family for 2 nights. The cottage was amazing and it was surrounded by trees, flowers and many exotic birds. The property was well maintained. One should definitely have a meal at the riverside deck with excellent views of the forest across the river. We booked the safari through the hotel, Mr. Manmeet ensured a seamless experience from booking to the jeep safari and back. Would definitely love to come back.
