This is a business hotel I stay in a couple of times a year, normally for a week or so. I think it was renovated about 5 years ago and it seems to have had insufficient maintenance since. It is looking grubby in some of the rooms - nothing a lick of paint (done properly not just lashed on) a deep clean and a sorting out of bathroom plumbing, would not solve. And some new bedding I had a slingle sheet sideways across a double bed one night - it was even very clean. The laundry is good, even if I never get back exactly what I put in - I am now the proud owner of a pair of jeans 4 inches bigger than me. My fault for not checking until I had moved on.
Plus side - staff are great - no complaints there - well one of the door men does mug you for a tip or "English coins" - He tried to sell me back the ones my mate had just given him - oh how we laughed. But seriously full marks to all the staff. The internet is now good in the rooms and I think wireless in the lobby and restaurant.
Now the restaurant - the food is great - especially the breads. Stuffed nan with cheese is very good. The curry and gravies are well balanced - a good level of spice and if you want they will turn that up or down at your request. They also do a range of Chinese and European foods which are good examples - The beer is well chilled.
All in all, I am sure I will use it again - a bit of maintenance is all that is required to bring it back up a mark. Oh and check your laundry carefully. I look forwards to the food.....

Was formerly the PrideBiz. The property is small but quite good with decent amount of open spaces. The lobby and the restaurant are well maintained and the food is good.
The rooms are reasonably well maintained and the sheets clean.
The bathrooms lack a shaving light but I am nit picking. The staff is helpful and the hotel is professionally managed.
It is 30 km from Vellore, I would recommend it for visitors to Ranipet. Travelling to Vellore everyday is a hassle. It is also a good place to stopover if you are on the road

I have stayed in this hotel for a long time in 2013 and 2012 and a few days in 2014. The hotel complex is the best in the Ranipet, Vellore area , better than even GRT. However, the service is quite dull and the food needs significant improvement. Also, there is no liveliness in the hotel unlike the one I found at GRT. I rate this second best only for the hotel infrastructure. All other things need to improve

I have stayed at Gee Kay Millennia for 1 night. Though I have asked for non-smoking room, they have given me a smoking room. I was not able to bear the smell. No room freshener provided. Don’t have the facility of mini bar. Worst part is wash room. No dental, shaving kits provided. Hot water was not coming. Toilet flush was not working. Worst experience. Don’t know why they are not maintaining this hotel properly. Restaurant service was very slow. You need to ask multiple times to get anything. No ice cubes provided. Worst experience. But no other option in the town except this hotel, else you have to stay in Vellore.

My son joined VIT University and I went from Pune to drop him off at his univ hostel. Borrowed my brother's car from Chennai and went to Vellore. When I realised that I have to stay over for 3 days, searched for a hotel in Vellore city. Not finding one (it is admission week and more parents turn up in Vellore than there are hotel rooms). Chose this hotel to stay. We both enjoyed the stay there - since my son is leaving his childhood behind and moving on, I look upon that trip and stay with a bit of sentiment.
For other parents who want to stay there I would definitely recommend it (if you have your own car, it is easier). The road trip to VIT University from this hotel is around 30 to 40 minutes through very good roads. There is a railway crossing on SH59 that can cause delays (a bridge is coming up here). The food choice and taste were good.

The hotel was not the worst but the Internet was terribly slow, when it worked. Complimentary breakfast was yummy and a good value. This hotel is about 40 minutes away (350 rp rickshaw, 800 rp car) from the center of vellore so not a good option if you want to commute back and forth. Nice fitness center but the website overemphasizes the niceness of the pool and spa. Very nice and helpful staff.

I was in vellore last week for an official work. I stayed at Pride biznotel for two days. I had a comfortable stay. Food is ok. Hotel is situated far off from vellore . My experience with Pride group of hotel was always good. Vellore is the hottest place in entire tamil nadu. Swimming pool is a great solace to beat the heat at Pride.

Very Good Stay at in Ranipet. Went to Vellore for business trip and stayed in Ranipet. Good Hotel. Good Service. Not spend much time in Hotel. Best place to stay if you travel to vellore. The staff is courteous and pleasant. The room service is prompt, Food quality and taste great.

Quite new hotel, after a big renovation done almost 3-4 years ago. Food south indian style with very few western "ideas", no good no bad... Very bad position due to a closest pharmaceutical factory that produce very bad smell all over.
Rooms not so clean, easy to find big rats outside and inside sometimes.
Price high for the level and service really so so...
Unfortunately, nothing better nearby.
