Great property, well maintained and professional staff. Liked the stay very much. All staff showed warmth at their guest. Rooms and entire property is neatly maintained. One thing you can possibly improve the staff training who handled our luggage (while we checked in, wearing white coat) non polite and unconsciously rude, we felt. Anyways rest of the staff we interacted were nice and warm. We ordered food as room service which tasted superb, though price wise bit on higher side but taste made them worth. Here one improvement is to be aware how many guests, so you can give that many plates. We were 3, plates given 2. Not a problem we managed. Hotel location is pretty good with ample car parking space, though dont understand why you didn't allow basement covered parking (asked the white coat person at check in but he blatantly said outside parking!). Our was a short stay so couldn't explore other parts of the hotel.
Overall experience is very good and will recommend this property to all. Safe, hygiene, clean and professionally managed. Thank you!

THE HOTEL is in a peaceful and convenient location of Vellore. It is beautifully done up and justifies the ITC tag. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The dining staff, including Mahalakshmi, Raja, Rawat and Michael (few more, whose names I forgot to note), are polite and prompt! Rooms are clean, adequately sized with all amenities. Washrooms are well equipped and clean, plumbing job is good as there is no water spillage unlike some other similarly designed hotel washrooms! Food is delicious, and reasonably priced too! You can rest assured, if you order A la Carte for lunch, evening snacks or dinner, you would only pay similar amount as you would in a restaurant outside! Dinner buffet has a variable pricing and I would suggest that they rationalize the price for that too, to encourage more in house guests to take it! I have just one suggestion- the handwash and the bodywash/Shampoo (it was the same gel in all containers) which the hotel uses currently, is very sticky and one has to waste a lot of water to get it completely off the body and it gets a little irritating! Would suggest them to change it.

We had booked the pool facing room. However was allotted a regular one. Upon questioning we were told that the pool facing ones were only two in number and fully booked. We requested to be transferred to this room on availability. But were told stories about how the guest would check out post 8pm and la la la. We expressed disappointment about not being informed regarding the non availability of the desired room. Subsequently within five minutes we were shifted to our preferred room. Talks poorly about the ethics of the hotel and its management.
Our stay coincided with our wedding anniversary and we had requested a small cake at the time of booking both through email and phone call. On arrival, the time of cake delivery was confirmed by the reception. Unfortunately on the day of celebration the cake did not arrive. We waited till nearing the time of checkout. When we enquired with the reception we were told that they need to find out from the kitchen. We once again repeated our request for a cake. But realised that it would be a no show like before. So, we checked out with a disheartening experience.
Food and service standards are very mediocre and not comparable to levels that are typical of ITC properties.
No amount of regret expressed will make us patronize this place again.

1. Booking through travel sites is cheaper by 2k rather than directly from Fortune website.
2. Parking is outside the hotel with no security. We encountered a fellow guest whose car had a puncture overnight. Duty manager claimed no responsibility.
3. Reception - Check in and check out is slow. Unable to multi task when there is more than one guest at the counter.
4. Food - Below average for a star property.
5. Staff at restaurant can learn a lesson or two on attending to patrons with a smile.
6. Not an exquisite hotel as far as service standards are concerned.
7. Be ready to be meeted out second hand treatment if you book through non fortune websites.

The hotel staff is quite impersonal, slow, not trained well and rude excluding the reception team. We were a group of 9 (including kids) staying and we had requested Ms. Maghalakshmi in their multicusine restaurant to join tables to make a family table on 26th Jan dinner and 27th December dinner. Each time she refused saying they can't do that as it is not possible. However, on 28th Jan breakfast table we saw a family of 10-11 members given joined table at the very same spot we had requested. My question is - are your rules different for different customers or are you just biased for some reason.
On 27th Jan after room Cleaning, towels were not replaced, tea/sugar sachets were not replaced, no water bottles given. Being ITC/Fortune what a half hearted service given.
To top it all, they use nearly expired jam/marmalade sachets in their restaurant so be careful.
Food is over priced, services over charged but services very under impressive.

Stayed there in The Suite room for a day ,rooms are spacious clean. Check in was fast and hospitality was great . But food needs improvement. The restaurant people doesn’t know that there is 10 percent discount for the house guest. Or were they pretending it is given only asked so avail it . This was my first stay in the property. The hotel is located in a prime location and can be easily reached. The property and the rooms were good, while had a disappointing experience in the restaurant. Breakfast had very limited spread and the service was very poor. Their toaster was not properly functional, there were no sufficient staff to help and most importantly the order placed was not attended for almost 15mins. Had to check again and later was served with alternate and not what was actually placed.
Room service was also not up to the mark. Had to follow up but was not provided till check out.
After charging 4300/- for a day in a location such as Vellore these are not expected from a reputed chain such as ITC.
Guess GRT is the alternate which I would prefer henceforth.

What can I say about this hotel? We expected better it being a Fortune Park by ITC hotel and one of the few "luxury" hotels in Vellore right beside GRT Hotels, which we should have stayed there to begin with.
We stayed here for 3 nights.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel front staff and offered a welcome drink which was refreshing. We booked a Deluxe Room which came with 2 twin beds. I am not sure what the deal in India is but when guest of 3 adults stay in a room, you would think that they would give you a room with a double/queen or king bed plus a rollaway bed which we had to order extra.
Anyhow the room was very tiny for 3 adults to move around as the roll-away bed took extra space.
Here's the pros and cons of the hotel:
Pros:
a) location - central to a lot of different amenities in the town /city b) Getting an upgrade to a club room
Cons:
a) Poor food selection in the breakfast buffet. b) Inattentive staff in the kitchen. c) Food kept open where it attracted insects. d) Rude staff in the front desk - I had asked for an extra key and these are the answers I had received:
i) I will get my colleague to come with you and to open the door. I had to re-iterate that I want an extra key.
ii) "Please return the key in the morning" - Again I had to re-iterate that I wanted an extra key
e) Stains on the sheets/bedding and dirty cups in the room (see attached photos) f) Torn pillow cover.
Why should I pay that much when the sheets are dirty and not clean?
Totally unacceptable.
Would I stay here again? Never.
To the manager - please ensure your cleaning staff does a thorough job of cleaning the place.
