We visited this place for 2 days and it was a really blissful place with amazing ambience, delicious food and courteous staff. The resort is right on the bank of Kabini river. The location is very scenic. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and with amenities like AC, fridge and coffee maker.

We stayed 6+1 from 26th to 28th March.2021. Approach road from Kabini is horrible. In room AC problem-room changed. There is no RO water available. Water bottles charged even though we paid all package in advance. Only food is best and staff are to the mark. Boating is only attraction here.

I wonder how there are so many good reviews. The rooms are dusty and dirty. The curtains haven’t been washed since lockdown I think. The whole rooms stinks dust. Location is great, staff r good, food u can’t expect too much for the location, but decent enough. We paid so much for the rooms and ended up in mediocre dusty rooms.. they have some good rooms too.. pls make sure u ask them to accommodate u in those rooms.. geyser doesn’t work, cot heights r weirdly low.. the blanket sizes don’t fit 2 people.. CURRENTLY VERY DUSTY AND A DIRTY PLACE Suggest u book serai paying a little more money and have a comfortable stay.

Amazing location on banks of Kabini river, amazing staff, amazing customer service. Mind blowing place, so many wildlife just on the banks of the river can be seen. Very reasonable rates, including meals. Huge spacious rooms. Loved it, already went twice and will go again and agin. Heaven on earth!

Very good property- friendly staff and most amazing food. Go there to relax - property is just in the bank of Kabini. Around 1.5 km off-road drive from main road. 2 nights stay is optimal for relaxing.

The resort is quite secluded, it will take 1.5 - 2 hours to reach the safari! all due to the very very very bad roads. So, would not select this if you want to go for the jungle safari. Your journey from Mysore is 1 hr to the safari:) Resort(or as they call it homestay) - Everything was just average. It is quite old in the way it is maintained, it definitely needs renovation. Even the sofa was full of dust(needs urgent cleaning). View - Its just awesome, breathtaking! Food - Now you have to take it that we are living in the wilderness, so please do not expect world class cuisine. All i can say is the chef is very accommodating and down to earth. So, i would call this above average. Staff - These guys(Abhi) are great, and most of the points i would give this resort is due to the staff - very helpful. So overall, this is not for a family trip, just about average.

Located on the southern banks of Bhadra reservoir with expansive views of the water body and close to another more expensive resort , the Evolve back (previously orange county), it is a basic resort not a luxury accommodation but equipped with A/C in some rooms.Few activities are available but could do well with more maintenance like cycles are old and many broken, as the grasslands behind offer an excellent place for cycling on the banks of the water body.Food strictly avenge fare, could again do well with more variety and choice ! Over all friendly staff. Highlight was cricket we played with our staff with equipment we carried ourselves from city!

We visited Peepal tree as a family vacation. In a nutshell it was a pleasant experience. However certain points worth mentioning for prospective visitors. 1) Peepal tree is on the southern side of the Kabini reservoir while other resorts are on northern side except Evolve Back. It has nothing to do with stay but Nagarhole national park entry point is distant as compared to other resorts. 35 kms exactly. 2) It is not a star resort but it is fairly good for those who can see beauty in simplicity. All basic amenities are there and in food condition but it is not a glamorous place. 3) Better to Go there in a good sturdy SUV as roads are not so good in last 15 kms. We went in Honda Amaze and there was fortunately no issue but I felt a bit chance taking. 4) Vodafone has no reliable connectivity so better to have a Jio card or BSNL card. You must have good internet to reach Jungle safari from resort 5) Don't trust Google maps for last 5 kms to reach resort as the location shown on Google maps is actually in the reservoir. Follow sign board instead of Google maps for last 5 kms. However couple of more sign boards would generate more confidence in unfamiliar territory. 6) Staff is very helpful and courteous. I really appreciate help of Mr. Purushottam and Mr. Abhi. 7) Food is ok but fairly acceptable. Especially looking at the remoteness of the place I will say it was nice. 8) Swimming pool was clean and surprisingly with facility to keep the water warm. 9) There is no difference in view from windows of a riverside or farm side cottages because resort is oriented perpendicular to the reservoir. 10) overall I felt that I made a good choice.
