Stunning tents and rooms (the tents are not on the ground), beautifully furnished. Service and food were very good. We were there in shoulder season (April) and not many other guests so had pool pretty much to ourselves but be aware only four sunbeds Short distance from the Nagerhole National Park. We loved our time here and would thoroughly recommend

Amazing place, just outside the Tiger Reserve. Staff and service - perfection! The hotel guide (who we were lucky enough to have with us on one jeep drive and one boat safari) was really great at explaining all the nature, the admin and reception at the hotel were friendly and efficient and I cannot praise the cook and waiting staff enough - food was divine. Everyone seemed glad we were there and went out of their way to make our stay excellent. Early morning wake up for the game drive was kindly done with tea and fruit and the evening meals were just wonderful - we had our last meal on the top balcony overlooking the nighttime park. Nice room, comfortable even with an extra bed, and very nice sitting places in various nooks if you wanted to be by yourself and read or write your diary. Lovely pool. Highly recommended. (and we saw 5 tigers on 3 trips into the park, which isn't guaranteed of course but gave us a really good buzz)…

We have stayed in few safari lodges in India , Sri Lanka and Tanzania , Kaav is among the very best . From check in to check out we had 3 magical days at Kaav . We stayed in one if the tents , which was everything you could wish for , comfortable, stylish and everything worked . The meals were stunning , so much variety , interest and so tasty . The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble . The whole area and vibe was of tranquillity , laid-back charm and nature . The pool area was lovely with many birds to entertain . The wifi throughout was strong . The safaris ( 2 jeep and 1 boat ) were excellent - be aware of the pricey park charges for foreign tourist cameras and lenses : according to focal length . We would totally recommend Kaav for your Kabini stay it is a beautiful , well thought out and managed resort , where as a guest you felt welcome and cared for.…

We stayed here for 3 nights as a base for visiting Nagarhole National Park. It's a fabulous small lodge with all of the modern comforts of a luxury hotel in a rural location. We had a lovely welcome from Vaanya and the dogs. Our room was large and modern with a big comfortable bed. We had a large terrace overlooking the park. There are two washbasins and a separate shower, all spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, all served on an open terrace overlooked by the kitchen. Every need was catered for, if you were going on an early morning safari, tea or coffee and snacks were delivered to your room. There were plenty of communal areas for sitting and looking over the park. There was also a swimming pool. The safaris were well organised. Warm shawls were offered for the chilly early mornings. The lodge jeeps were used to take guests to a meeting point where we were transferred to official park jeeps or boats. The best safaris by far were those where we were accompanied by the Kaav resident naturalist, Sujith. His passion for nature and his determination to find wildlife for guests really made the trip special. We saw so many animals and did finally see a tiger thanks to his efforts. I'm looking for an excuse to return! …

Lovely safari resort in the reserve about 20 minutes drive from where all the jeeps/vehicles start from. The staff, bedrooms, food, extra activities were all excellent - couldn't fault anyone. Even the resident dogs were a lovely bonus. Only comment would be that you had to request a hairdryer if you wanted one, which was provided, but with not too many rooms on the resort it would be easier to provide a hairdryer for each room rather than guests having to request one. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone and their staff were all excellent. We had a wonderful stay. Make sure you have some warm clothing for the early game drives or boat rides as it's v windy and cold until later in the day. The afternoon drives are much warmer.

We had a 2 night stay in one of the tents, it was definitely luxurious, the bed was very comfortable and the tent was really clean. The food was so tasty and plentiful, the chef was always checking that everything was as we wanted. The resort itself is very quiet and has a pool and lots of others things to do, there is a viewing deck, which is worth sitting in and relaxing. The staff were on hand for anything and were very helpful, courteous and professional. The safari's arranged from here were amazing, we felt really looked after and special, the whole time we were here and would love to return.

Kaav an exquisite and well maintained property. It's not only a great weekend getaway, but will serve well for a staycation as it's really peaceful, serene and cosy. The food is excellent and the staff is really humble, helpful and understanding. The rooms are quite comfortable and the decor is tasteful. There are a few sight seeing places nearby from Kaav that's a great way to spend the evening, One can cover these by foot or by the bike provided by Kaav. Special shoutout to Divya for being a super host! Overall, a quiet, relaxing and posh experience with great hospitality.

I don't usually take the time to pen down reviews but this time I simply had to. This place takes the cake. Not only were they able to cater to my mad hatter family but they went the extra mile in every way possible to ensure we had the best getaway. Vaanya and Sujeeth were superb hosts. S really knows his stuff when it comes to the wildlife in Kabini and is just a treasure trove of knowledge. The food was absolutely delicious. The chefs and Vaanya made some of the tastiest desserts and the pizza and khao suey were lip smacking. Suffice it to say we had an incredible time at Kaav and will definitely come back again. P.S. how could we forget dogs! Stevie my man. Such a gentle, lovely boy and the ever so naughty Toto, too! Thanks to the entire team. We loved every minute.
