We had a fan bungalow which on the first night seemed to have more mosquitoes in than out, we did have some coils and after lighting one seemed to do the trick in clearing them. Following nights did not seem so bad which is good as unusually for the island there was no mosquito net here. We paid 800B a...

We normally swear by Travelfish.org's recommendations on our adventures, but their glowing review of NgamKoh Resort's restaurant was way off the evening we were there. We ordered four dishes, all were mediocre at best, lacking in flavour and portion size. Service had a jaded, "We're busy all the time so what's another customer" feel about it, although wasn't unfriendly (Thais...

The bungalow was clean and cozy, we had a wonderful view and the food was good. Great coffee! The family who runs the place are such good people, and they truly care about their guests. But the best thing about Ngam Kho is the atmosphere they have managed to create. We stayed for five days, and I am so happy...

Stayed here for about five nights last November. The food was excellent! The prices were reasonable. I had to pay a lot for a coconut that just grew out of a tree there. Otherwise, the location was good and the people there were really helpful. The wifi didn't reach to all the bungalows.

Didn't stay here but ate here in preference to Horizon resort next door. Lots of others did too. Excellent food, efficiently served, right by the beach. Does breakfast and good coffee and shakes too. But no wine at dinner

We arrived to Koh Kut/Koh Kood and found this lovely place. The first two nights we stayed in one of the huts close to the beach. It was lovely to sit on the veranda and listen to the waves. We didn't have toilet and shower in the hut, but there was one ten metres from our hut. The last two...

The staff here are really helpful and the kitchen staff cook up some of the best food the Island has to offer. The rustic shacks are comfortable, clean - some with air con, others with fans. A perfect location. Ok, some of the neighbouring beaches are a bit more scenic but then you'll be paying five times the amount for...

Basic huts with nice clean bathrooms. The food is brilliant and the restaurant is the place to hang out, play games and meet other people. The staff are very helpful. Rent motorbikes to explore the island.

While looking for guesthouses on Koh Kood it was really hard to find a place with reasonable rates and rustic accommodation. The island seems upmarket - with most places starting at 1500 baht. So I was glad to find Ngam Kho, where I was charged a rate of 600 baht. Honestly, I think it's still overpriced and should be around...

This is a fine place to settle into. Rustic bamboo huts overlooking the beach with clean bathrooms and a great porch complete w/ a hammock for maximum relaxation. Lovely flowers grace the landscape while a slew of silly dogs keep the grounds in order. The staff is super friendly and the food is superb! Make sure to check out the...
