I am adding an update on my review from our one week stay there. After 3 days the staff came to change the sheets and i got completely eaten by bed bugs! They probably brought them in the room by the "new and fresh" blankets and clothes from some other empty bungalows. A very big SHAME, because i still like... More

First of all: we decided to go to Koh Jum without a bungalow reservation and choose once we get there. We understood that it would be ok for some longtail boat just to give us a ride to the island from the Koh Lanta boat. Well, at the Pier the guy who took our tickets started to tell us that... More

We spent four days here and I must say it was nice. The people were friendly, the food good and cheap (compared to other hotels and bengalows). Someone wrote about the dogs, they are everywhere .. During the day, they are nice, but how dark and bark. I recommend avoiding them. Definitely one of the best places on Ko Jum.... More

After reading all the reviews i must say that the stay here has been going on pretty sweet. PROS We got the blue crib directly on the beach with almost no mosquitos included (no joke, they are obviously all back in the more forested area) for 600b/n. Of course, no toilet inside (but shared) but the ocean is literally your... More

This was our second time in New Bungalows. It is not the tidiest bungalows nor the most comfy but it has this "something"! The resort is near the Koh Jum Baan -village, only 15 minutes walk far along the jungle road. Bungalows are reasonably priced, the bed is comfortable, has a mosquito net, cold water in shower and tap, sewage... More

Do not stay here if you don't like being harassed by the resort dogs. And when you complain you are told it's your fault. The large woman running this place was extremely unpleasant. Thai dogs are trained to defend their property against all non-family members. I've stayed in more than a hundred Thai beach bungalows over the past 15 years... More

I love Koh Jum and it's tranquility. I've stayed here twice, once for a month in 2011 and then again with my partner in 2014. Next time I will change where i stay for a few different reasons. This place isn't bad and for me personally it's on the best bit of beach. The beach directly out of the front... More

Koh Jum is so peaceful. If you go to this island, you will feel that you have found something unique. There is literally nothing to do here - hardly any tourisits. We stayed at New Bungalow for 300THB a night. The bungalows at this price are quite a bit further from the beach, but you get what you pay for.... More

I stayed one night at New Bungalows before moving elsewhere to be closer to the beach. At only 300 baht it was a bargain: fairly large room with built in shelves and nice little porch with small table and two chairs. It was the nicest of three places I stayed on Koh Jum but the only available bungalow was more... More

“There are three bungalows by the beach, the rest are in a straight row facing each other.”

“Free wifi in the restaurant from 6 until 10.30 pm, until the power is switched off. Beach front bungalow is large, cool and more costly than the onces in the back. However, the back is more quiet. This resort is very tranquil, no noises, no cars. Heaven on earth!”
