Dear MRayC80, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We enjoyed our conversations with you around the bonfire in the evenings. Delighted to know that it checks all boxes for a place to reset. Thank you for recommending us to nature lovers, those would be the ideal guests who would genuinely enjoy this place since we are surrounded by forests and overlooking snow covered Himalayan peaks. We are becoming a popular destination for bird watchers as well. We are looking forward to host you back. With warm regards, Hanut Bal

We visited Deodar Manor in Khajjiar in October 2020 after being home for almost 7 months. We were looking for something which was off the beaten track and away from the crowds. Our stay was all that we had hoped for and so much more. What started out as a trekking trip turned out to be a most memorable holiday. Deodar Manor with its old world charm is a gem nestled amongst a deodar forests. It has five well appointed rooms each with a view of the mighty Pir Panjals. The highlight of our stay was the lovely trekking trails which we traversed with Hanut (owner) enjoying the clean clear mountain air and beautiful blue skies. The meals were delicious and reminded us of a home away from home. The deck where we spent a lot of our time soaking in the sunshine has a breathtaking view of

We visited Deodar Manor in the first week of October 2020 and had gone after going through what the place actually is and what we should excpect from it and to tell you fankly it met each and every requirement we had in our minds for a perfect holiday getaway.More than that it is a family bunglow converted into a five room villa. The moment you arrive you can feel the calmness and aloofness of this place from the outside noise. The owner Mr.Hanut is the perfect host one could get.He was constantly there for us and more than a host he became our good friend. Raju bhaiya and Chander bhaiya provided good services and home made food.Roger, a very friendly Doberman welcomed us and had become close to our son.I would highly recommend this place, especially for someone who is looking

We had a wonderful stay. This level of warmth and hospitality was something we had never encountered before. Special mention to Raju and Charan Singh who projected our every need and cooked us delicious meals. It was really the last word in comfort. The Manor has spectacular views in all directions and its charm lies in the fact that it is far from the madding crowd. This part of the Himalayas is decidedly one of the best kept secrets with its dense forests abounding in wildlife, exotic birds and gurgling streams. A trekkers paradise and a home in the hills. A big thanks to the owners Hanuj and Ranjit for a wonderful stay!

The manor has the charm of a heritage property and is very tastefully maintained. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and furnished with all amenities. The staff is also very well trained, friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, although it didn't begin very well. Due to the road being closed and our flight being delayed, we couldn't reach Khajjiar the first day and had to stay in a hotel in Dalhousie. When we tried to explain this to Mr. Harnut, the owner, on telephone, he wouldn't listen and was unhelpful and rude. This turned us off and we nearly decided not to go to the Deodar Manor. But I'm glad we went because it turned out to be a great stay and Mr. Harnut and his staff more than made up for it.

Dear Trans W, Thank you for taking the time to share your kind feedback. Delighted to know that you liked our heritage property, including the spacious comfortable rooms, cleanliness and furnishings. We strive to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness. My sincere apologies for coming across as rude, those were not my intentions. You wanted a complimentary night because you were not able to make it to Khajjiar for the first night of your booking and as a result had to stay in Dalhousie. This is where we had a disagreement, however, we thoroughly enjoyed your company and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Warm regards, Hanut Bal
