Laid back and quiet place . Go and chill out without expecting too much glamour and polish . Retains some old colonial charm and still inhabited by retired Service Officers . We did a day trip so did not stay at some of the popular home stay options now available . A trek to Manki point is worth the effort although if you are chatting with friends the 4 km pass away so quickly . Some beautiful sights on the way . The walk is easy and not tough at all. At 68 years the three of us were comfortable enough to have enjoyed it . But then we were in early November allowing for perfect weather .
we stayed in July and it was a nice memorable stay. staff is great and cooperative. all rooms have valley view. so no problem in selecting room. have a nice stay. v near to the main market of kasauli.
Worst.. they didnt allow me my own booze.. they asked lay then 500rs for extra plate charged me 300rs for 2 small fry papad,, if u have extra koeny too waste plz do visit .. else ki dly avoid not value for money… rooms are ok ok… overrated… and manager mr ramesh says management forces them to charge this much and they cant do anything for this…
Kasauli resort is the best property in Kssauli. We just loved our stay here. The resort is beautiful with ample parking space and a beautiful garden with seinfd. Rooms are spacious with a balcony with an excellent view. The staff is very good and were ready to help us always excellent resort for senior citizens. Special mention for Mr. Ram Chander Raghuvanshi .he was really nice and helpful through out. He gave us the best rooms as per our preference and ensured everything was perfect. Very welcoming resort with a nice tuck shop. We will love to visit the resort again. We modified our booking many times but Ram Chander was patient enough and helped us always.
We were four frds and booked the cottage on the name of Harinder singh that’s no 317 & when my frd booked the cottage then ur employee namely Ram settled 15500 between us and when we will pay then ur employee said that the settlement amount is 17000 a breach of trust and ur cottage food quality is so bad the cocrache are moving on table of buffae .The video recorded by us.my contact number 9988840411
I have been coming to this resort, ever since I was a toddler. Amazing views, one can see Shimla lights, snowy mountains and Sanawar School. The food is outstanding. Very good hotel. “My home in Kasauli ”. “Please try the continental food at Kasauli resort”.
Situated three kilometres from the Mall on the road from Dharampur to Kasauli. It's location gives it an advantage over other resorts, many of them are located away from the centre. Parking is available but could be a problem when the resort is full as there is space for around 15-20 cars. There is a dormitory for drivers with 4-5 beds. The entry is steep downhill and while you climb with full throttle while leaving the resort, be careful as there is traffic from both side of the road. Check in process was quick Room 101-108 are on reception/parking level and other rooms are above. There is no elevator and so it can be a problem for wheel chair bound guests. A chair lift is available from reception level to the restaurant, one level below. There is small lobby with comfortable sofas and a small library. A gift shop in front of the reception opens during morning hours. Small sized swimming pool at site Gym was closed. Room size is good with a comfortable bed. Since the property is old, there are issues with opening and closing of balcony sliding doors. View of the valley and mountains is lovely from the room balcony. The curtains are thin and so strong sun early in the morning can disturb your sleep even if the curtains are fully drawn. Tea/Coffee maker, TV, in room safe, fridge is available in the room. Toilet fittings are of old type but working well. Toiletries are provided. Towels provided were totally worn out. Breakfast timings are 8-10.30. Since occupancy was low, there was no breakfast buffet. Choice of fruits, eggs to order, chole bhature/poori, stuffed Paratha, Vada sambhar, poha etc was available. The tomato ketchup pouch was well past the expiry date so please check before you consume. Bar is well stocked. Last order for dinner is at 10.30 PM. We had Indian and Chinese food for dinner on two nights. Chinese dishes were cooked very well, tasty and we're adequate in quantity. Indian cooking was also good except tandoori chicken which was served charred which was not expected so warm the chef to cook it properly if you order tandoori chicken. There is an outdoor seating available around the pool where food can be served. The garden terrace is very well maintained with beautiful flowers. There are a few two roomed cottages also available. The Mall road is around 10 minutes drive from the hotel. It is better to take your car and park it in the multi level parking and then walk around the market. Taxi can be hired from the church square near by for sight seeing. Taxis charge Rs 800 for Manki point and Sunset point. Sunset point can be done on foot also as it is not very far.…
Very costly food. From reviews we had planned to carry home food for one day. Hotel asked for Rs 550.00 to supply two serving plates and two bowls. It was unbelievable. Hotel staff informed it is our hotel policy. Never experienced such meanness. One should never visit it. There are number of very good new hotels. Whereas it is now old property.
Excellent experience with kasauli resort .Thanks to entire staff for prompt and excellent services. Nice balcony view with cozy room .Lovely place to stay .All the site seeing places are very near to the resort.
