My large family group spent one night here while travelling through Taishan to our family villages. It was the best hotel that my extended family members were familiar with as they had stayed here before when the hotel was brand new. We travelled during July, when temperatures were 40C plus. First impression was that it was a grand hotel. The...

It is not a bland international standard hotel and for that it is all the more memorable. The basics are perfectly good - large clean room and bathroom - friendly, helpful, actually rather jolly staff and a restaurant which was busy with lots of people, perhaps not at the hotel overnight, but in for a good night out. Fish tanks...

I had stayed at a sister property in Jiangmen, which was unimpressive, so I thought this smaller-city property would underwhelm. However, it was actually much better, and surprisingly good. The beds were comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. It was annoying though that the shower door wouldn't close completely, so water leaked out. Service was decently quick, but they...

Nice big rooms, very clean, wifi excellent, staff friendly. Excellent breakfast. Changing currency is an issue. Not much to do close by. Have to travel by cab. Costs around y30 as no cabs will come out unless a double fare is paid.

The hotel may appear grand, but you will soon notice the detail to attention is lacking.customer service is definitely not 5 star, I will give it 3.5 stars at most. If you don't like bugs, you may not want to stay in this hotel. It definitely is lacking. The hotel shuttle was scary looking at best.

For $80 (US) you can enjoy luxury in the 2nd tier of China's development. Taishan City is on the move and will become an important city in China in the next 5 years. The first impression of Taishan is that of a glimpse into the China of the 1960's. Of course in the background, their are countless cranes that are...

If you really like ostentatious stonework, painted ceilings, massive windows and plush upholstery - and if rodents don't bother you - you will love this place. If, on the other hand, like my wife and I, you value cleanliness, avoid this place like the plague (which is spread by rodents, by the way). A round patch of plush carpet in...

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this establishment however if I am to compare it to hotels in say, Hong Kong, I am unable to give it 5 stars. It is most likely the best hotel in the area. It is tucked back in the more exclusive area of Tai Shan, which is fine as it would be unwise to...

I have to admit that my experience was abbreviated, since I arrived with my extended family late in the day and left early in the morning. That being said, everything I experienced was great. After checking in and getting settled, my brother-in-law and I went straight to the pool. We spent well over an hour in the huge pool late...

There are not too many fine hotels in this area, and this is probably the best. It is a very large hotel with large bedrooms . The main lobby of the hotel is large with Venetian theme, with ceilings painted like a European Church with fine paintings covering the ceiling. There are a couple of restaurants on site , a...
