Having journeyed to numerous Four Seasons properties worldwide, our venture to the Four Seasons Mauritius marked a pinnacle in luxury travel experiences. This exquisite destination, reached after more than 20 hours of travel, justified every minute spent in transit. As seasoned travelers with a penchant for the refined elegance of the Four Seasons brand, we found this particular resort to surpass all others in its blend of sophisticated luxury, personalized service, and a genuinely family-friendly environment. Set against a backdrop of stunning natural beauty, the Four Seasons Mauritius didn't just meet our high expectations—it soared beyond them, making the extensive journey unequivocally worth it. • Attention to Detail and Surprises: The resort's attention to detail was apparent in every aspect, from the seamless check-in process to the prompt and efficient buggy service that effortlessly transported us across the property. We were constantly delighted by handcrafted recommendations and surprises that made us feel as if the staff had known us for years, creating a sense of familiarity and warmth. • A Sanctuary for Families: The resort's family-friendly approach was evident in their facilities and services tailored for children. From the kid-friendly menus to the engaging activities, every aspect was designed to ensure that families, especially those with young children like ours, had a memorable and comfortable stay. • Nanny Service: Beyond Expectations: Embracing the resort's nanny service was a decision we cherished. On two separate occasions, our children were engaged by nannies who were not only professionally adept but also incredibly nurturing. They organized activities that were both fun and educational, catering to our children’s ages and interests. This thoughtful service gave us the confidence to relax, knowing our children were in capable and caring hands. • Culinary Excellence at Breakfast: Each morning greeted us with an extravagant breakfast buffet. The spread was a global culinary journey, offering everything from traditional Mauritian dishes to international delicacies. The diverse array of choices, coupled with the freshness of the ingredients and the attentive service from the staff, made every breakfast an eagerly awaited event, setting a joyous tone for the day. • Mauritian Dinner: A Cultural Gala: The Mauritian dinner was a spectacular affair, far exceeding a typical dining experience. This event was a celebration of the island's rich culinary heritage, featuring an array of fresh grilled seafood complemented by a team of exuberant local dancers. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the vibrant spirit of Mauritius, showcasing the resort's deep connection with and respect for local culture. • Personalized Excursions and Activities: The resort's commitment to personalized experiences shone through in their excursion recommendations. Ravi, our driver, suggested a unique turtle-feeding activity, which became a special highlight for our family. Additionally, the option to explore the resort's scenic landscape on bicycles and the access to multiple serene beaches provided a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. • Exceptional Leadership by Sebastian Grany: At the heart of our extraordinary experience was Sebastian Grany's visionary leadership. His ability to remember the names of every guest, including our young children, was remarkable and added a genuinely personal touch to our stay. Witnessing Mr. Grany one morning, actively assisting his team in clearing tables and ensuring the satisfaction of every guest, was profoundly inspiring. It was a testament to his philosophy of leading by example and his unwavering commitment to excellence in service. In conclusion, our visit to Four Seasons Mauritius under the leadership of Sebastian Grany was a symphony of impeccable service, luxurious comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. It was an experience where every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a paradise that felt like home, yet in a setting of unparalleled beauty and luxury. This stay was not just a vacation; it was a journey into the heart of Mauritian hospitality, leaving us with a longing to return to this idyllic haven

A fantastic stay. Perfect for couples seeking tranquility and a beautiful quiet environment. After a few days at the Lux Le Morne Hotel where the service was really poor we spent our second week here. Immediately upon arrival we felt the difference of service. Smiling, efficient and kind staff assisted us all through out our stay. We were greeted by Sébastien the manager upon arrival. We had the Sanctuary Island Pool Villa. We loved our stay here. The villa, the surroundings and the staff. If you into golf you will like it as well as there is a golf next door. There is the Île aux Cerfs which is 15 minutes away by boat with the resort’s private beach for a nicer beach. The restaurants were overall very good for a beach resort. I would say the slight negatives would be If you are a family and beach lovers I would not necessarily come here. The beaches of the resort are quiet and fine for us but not the nicest in the region. Maybe the resort could do with a renovation as some users have mentioned here but we liked it so much as it was. Thanks to Sébastien and all the staff for making this holiday so memorable !

I have stayed many times at the Four Seasons in Mauritius. The hotel is now very tired and desperately needs a very major refurbishment. I have visited twice since 2021 and unfortunately the service since Covid is not a patch on what it was before.

We were so disappointed with our stay at the four seasons Mauritius. The service was absolutely awful, incredibly slow and they were constantly apologising but never able to actually improve the service. Everything was extremely slow and inefficient. It would take a very long time for food and when we complained the solution they were able to provide was not to speed this up as they simply couldn’t cope, they asked us to pre order all our meals! Which completely takes the convenience and enjoyment of being on holiday away.  We were reliant on golf buggies as we have young children and these were completely unreliable. They would often take 30 mins to arrive as well as sometimes just not show up at all. I would call and ask how long it would be and they would say 10 mins so I would get all the children ready and waiting outside after 10 mins… 20 mins after that (so 30 mins total) there would still be no golf buggy and my children would by crying and restless from waiting around for no reason.  The service in restaurants was horrendous, not just slow but completely inaccurate, full of mistakes and so unprofessional. One night we had our starters and were waiting a very long time for an our main and hadn’t been served when someone asked us if we wanted to see the dessert menu! They’d just completely forgotten about us.  Our AC wasn’t working in one of the bedrooms and the cold taps didn’t work (so only hot water was being produced and it was too hot for my children to wash their hands or bath in). I complained about this and they said they came to fix it and told us it was fixed and when we went back they had done literally nothing and the issues were still there. This is something I would expect from a budget backpacking hostel or something - certainly not a half decent hotel let alone the four seasons!  We wasted so much of our holiday complaining, listening to boring apologies that meant nothing as nothing was fixed and waiting around for buggies. The spa however was totally exceptional, unbelievably beautiful with outstanding service and wonderful treatments.

We were upgraded to an Ocean Island Pool Villa. It was fantastic. It comprised a huge bedroom, huge sitting room and very large bathroom (with an additional outside shower that looked out onto a garden). Modern décor. The villa also included a heated pool and a private waterfront that looks out onto the ocean and nearby island. It was fascinating to watch the tides come in and out. We enjoyed the complementary wine and sweet treats. Service was impeccable. The breakfast selection amazing. There are several restaurants to choose from representing a wide variety of cuisines. The large surrounding gardens are a great addition, and they are beautifully kept.

This hotel is very quiet and a bit boring. The beach is artificial, but you have boats to the island Ille de cerf for more beach experience, but we tired a bit from this. In hotel you have only villas. Also you have big distances for walking. The dinners were excellent, shisha was disappointing. If you are golfer - go there as you will get 2 perfect golf fields and it is not too expencive to play.

What a beautiful and great designed Location. The moment as we arrived at the Hotel was amazing. The hospitality of all the staff was so lovely and thoughtful. We got a upgrade to a bigger villa with stylish rooms and a privat Pool. The culinary experience we could test in 4 exclusive restaurants. The umi zaka was one of the best Asien cuisine ever. We also enjoyed a boat ride to the small beach on ileaux cerfs. What a peaceful beach and wonderful turquoise Indian ozean. A highlight is also the botanical garden pamplemousses.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Food is delicious. Good verity. The restaurants are a bit expensive but worth every penny. We stayed in the winter, and I was a bit afraid because of many reviews regarding the East Coast being windy at this time of year, but I have to say that it didn't ruined our holiday a bit! It's a slight breeze, and it's very welcomed when the sun is out. It is less hot than. The service standard is high. They really try their best to satisfy and make the stay enjoyable! We came for my birthday and it was on the last day of our stay, however they remember it and gave a beautiful cake to us to celebrate. Small things like that, in my opinion, make the entire stay. Thank you!

One of the best hotels we ever stayed. The people are so nice. Service is almost perfect and the villa is beautiful. We would like to say special thanks to Tina for the best service during our diner in the wine cellar, to Damen for understanding what good service is and inviting us to a great culinair experience and of course Sebastiaan for managing such a great team.
