Fantastic time visiting Amakhala Safari Lodges. Cameron and Ngoli were brilliant. Don't want to say too much about it as it would spoil the experience for others but it was just the best time ever. Magical!!!
Great accommodation with very good attention to detail. Staff were extremely welcoming and our guide was great entertainment throughout our 4 night stay. Food exceeded our expectations for both quality and quantity. We went in winter so weather was unpredictable. The whole family enjoyed it.

Hi, thank you for contacting us with your question about tips. There isn't really a standard rate for tipping butlers and rangers. The tips range between a couple of hundred rand to a couple of thousand. The standard when tipping in a restaurant in South Africa is a minimum of 10%. What you tip is very much a personal choice, and to know that whatever you do tip is very much appreciated. "Tips make the world go round!!"
