We had an amazing stay. It was stunningly beautiful, and amazingly clean. The hospitality of signora Tiziana made the stay even more marvellous. Im addition the breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety.

Our stay at Masciarella felt like a stay over at friends', only those ones that give you the best bedroom in the house and make you feel at home!
We had the whole 1st floor veranda, huge balcony and the dining room / kitchen to ourselves, as we stayed in June, and we were lucky as there were no other guests around.
I was able to do my short morning yoga practice in the open air in the rays of the rising sun.
The place was very peaceful and conductive to rest, as during the day we moved quite a lot.
Absolutely amazing breakfast - very nice selection and natural products, which is a great change from most hotels' standard continental ones.
Tiziana's homemade apricot muffins were to die for! I wish I asked for the recipe.
Fantastic, approachable hosts, spotless clean amenities, beautiful olive trees and garden, delicious natural food - in fact, the latter is the reason we went for this hotel in the first place.
Masciarella is an experience - we would stay again and highly recommend it.

Rustic, quaint, peaceful and authentic Italian, the Masciarella B&B was a delight. With its beautiful surroundings, clean and spacious rooms and wonderfully pleasant and attentive staff, I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a real Italian experience.

Not findable on our Satnav. Nice place off a track, literally. Very clean. Pleasant woman. Just a total fiasco in terms of organisation..she got someone to ring to tell us to come as she was going out, after I had rung her and we'd established, or so I thought, that we were eating first as it is 3 miles from nearest restaurant. Hope her communication improves. Breakfast was a pile of cakes, even she keeps chickens, -very poor. Also not tranquil as all doors have very noisy locks and main train line runs at bottom of garden. Cheap but very disappointing experience

We stayed at Masciarella when my son was married in Carovigno. We had a wonderful welcome from the family. The B&B is spotless, in a beautiful location, surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees and a kitchen garden. The terraces are planted with lovely flower borders and pots of flowers. The food is excellent, much of it homegrown, and Tiziana's homemade cakes and tarts are wonderful.

We were sad to leave after a week but look forward to returning soon.
Thank Jenny P
