We just finished our trip to Jaba Nibue. We thought that the location was great but the service was terrible. The staff is apathetic and the pool is always dirty, the rooms were not cleaned properly and there were bugs entering at night. It's sad because it could be an amazing place with the right management. It seems like they'll... More

Very mixed opinions of this place. On the one hand, the views from the rooms are lovely, as are the rooms themselves. The location on the steep hillside is also great and quite unusual, so is the layout of the hotel; split over many levels connected with steps and walkways. But the prices by comparison to other hotels are far... More

This is a unique hotel experience in a remote area of the Colombian coast. Accessible only by boat taxi from the small Colombian village of Taganga - near Santa Marta. On the plus side the view of the cove from the resort is absolutely stunning! The people at the resort are very hospitable. Hint - spend the extra $30/night for... More

Perhaps the idea with which it was conceived was good, but definitely there is nothing Eco in this hotel. The product price relationship is very unbalanced, with this high price your service expectations are for a luxury hotel which this hotel is not able to deliver.

I can only repeat many of the reviews below. The views from the hotel are lovely overlooking the bay and evening sunsets. We had a suite with a jacuzzi shared with another room which was perfect for two lazy days at the end of our holiday. Comfortable beds and usual in-room amenities. When we stayed the hotel was empty. At... More

The hotel is amazing, the view is incredible! you get to see the sunset from almost all the rooms. We stayed in a suite, great size with a shared jacuzzi and a balcony. Unfortunately the power plant was failing and we had no power for 2 nights in a row and sometimes during the day (imagine no A/C for the... More

The hotel is nice, but the food prices are really high with not a lot of options, also the access to the hotel is limited because the boats from the hotel stops operating at 5:00 pm. The staff is very polite but I think that in order to charge for the amount that they are asking for a night, they should... More

This hotel has gorgeous views and is off the beaten path. It is a little tricky to get to. From the town of Taganga, you have to take a "lancha," this rowboat with a motor, in order to get to the hotel. There is an additional cost for this that you need to pay in cash. There are several boat... More

Reading through the other reviews, I would agree with a lot of things were said. There are mosquitos in the rooms, the staff is not "friendly" and could do much more, some places are not as clean as they could be, and movement is rather limited due to its location. At the same time, we were able to overcome all... More

First of all, the entrance and way to gain access to this hotel is cool - getting a boat over as the sun is setting is truly awesome! To then be meet with Mojitos on arrival really sets the scene. At first glance, the room looked cool - awesome views across the beach as we opened the glass doors onto... More
