I wrote to cancel my booking, saying that I could not give money to a business that is neither tolerant nor inclusive of the gay community. The reply I received was 'good riddance to bad rubbish'. I think this answers the question of whether this guesthouse is homophobic.

Tom and Liz were fantastic hosts! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the area. I was cooked a fantastic breakfast on both mornings and Tom and Liz were both very pleasant to speak to.

Stayed here several times in the last 20 years & nothing changes - it remains the perfect guest house run by an excellent hostess with occasional help from Tom.! Ideally located for serious hill walkers or (like me) low level O.A.P. ramblers/eagle watchers.

This nice, clean B&B was exactly what we needed after three days of hiking. Friendly hosts, top breakfast and useful location for hikers (particularly after a beer at the pub) - some walking here involved.

We appreciated the warm welcome we received despite calling at the last minute. The room and bathroom were clean with everything we needed. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast, cooked to order, with friendly conversation and sound advice for the day's hiking ahead.
