We stayed just one night on our way from Glasgow to London vis Sheffield! The setting is beautiful, with the church in the valley and the countryside around. We were the only guests, and had b&b rather than a cottage. The room was spacious, beautifully clean but cosy. Our hosts were friendly but not intrusive and breakfast was not too...

Everything about our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, to the scones we were left, to a beautiful little cottage which was perfect for the two of us. Daisy Cottage was clean, ideal for two people and had everything we could have wanted for a 2 night stay. If you don't believe all that, when you stay, simply...

We first discovered this wonderful holiday farm three years ago when we booked one of the cottages during the summer for a doggy holiday. We were so impressed with the cottage, the facilities, how clean and tastefully decorated it was that we always knew we wanted to return. Three years on and this time a winter break and although booked...

This cottage was absolutely perfect! We stayed in the self-catering Snowdrop cottage and LOVED it! Everything we could need was there, including a small jug of milk on arrival. The mince pies and the Christmas tree were a lovely addition as well. The cottage was comfortable and the downstairs spacious. It was just the right size for the two of...

We stayed 2 nights in a self Catering cottage (Daisy) in November. The cottage was snug and warm with everything we needed (including a hairdryer which was awesome as I forgot to pack mine). There was also scones and jam to greet us which was welcome after a rather long drive The finish of the self catering cottages is to...

It was a treat to stay at Church House Farm and experience their bed and breakfast. The owners are both welcoming and provide first class accommodation in an old farm house. Our room was delightful; nicely furnished with a small but perfectly adequate ensuite. We had been left a good selection of teas and coffee and, best of all, real...

We stayed in Buttercup Cottage whilst on a family break. We were welcomed with a beautiful homemade cake. The cottage was perfect for my family & was clean & accessible for my two autistic children. We were close enough to Flamingo Land & it was a beautiful, quiet & relaxing location.

Stayed for one night doing the Coast 2 Coast walk. Andrew picked us up from The Lion Inn. Room immaculate with high quality fittings, bedding ( & mattress!). Very spacious room with beautiful views - very peaceful. Andrew took us to the local pub ( Fox & Hounds) and picked us up later..when we requested. Breakfast was in a lovely...

Buttercup cottage was the ideal location for exploring the east coast around Whitby/Scarborough. Modern cottage with all the amenities although an extra bathroom would have helped upstairs. Beautiful garden with great views and good quality garden furniture. Main gripe would be no back door to enter garden but the time my family and I had at this property was very...

My wife and I came to visit the Yorkshire Moors and unfortunately only stayed two days. Andrew and Judith were the best hosts ever!! We will be back for sure. If you're looking for a place to stay this should be your first choice! Church House Farm could not have been more peaceful. Thanks again for everything.
