We booked a room at the last minute for the Dussehra vacation, couldn't get a cottage. The resort is maintained neat and clean. The room was clean and spacious, so was the bath. The room on ground floor #107 didn't have a sit-out/balcony. The AC appeared not to be cleaned well enough, it was giving out a slight foul smell, but we got used to it quickly once inside. The food was reasonably good, breakfast spread was good, so we're the menu options. The staff are friendly. Ms Vijayalakshmi is sn able and affable manager. Our major grouse was that the resort campus is congested. Even if you take a cottage, you don't get a private sit-out and you will stare at passersby. Sadly, there isn't enough walking space either and you must get to the road if you want take a stroll. Even the parking space is crumpled and it could get annoying if the resort is full. We would have liked it much more if the same facilities were provided in a campus 3-4 times bigger.

Location is excellent, close to station and to the Badami Caves. Resort has a nice touch of greenery which perhaps i was missing otherwise in Badami, cos of the weather in March. Staff is very helpful. Food options are very limited. But overall a good deal!

This is the best resort in Badami . Its a small resort but very beautifully designed .We were a family group of 10 people and stayed in 3 cottages . Cottages were huge in size and had everything we require inside it . I must mention resort manager Nagesh who is a fantastic guy and very helpful . He is like single point of contact for everything you need . Special thanks to Nagesh. Food was very good and tasty . Over all I will recommend this resort to anyone visiting badami.

We have stayed there 2 nights as a couple in July 2022, to reach our room we walked through the beautiful gardens. The room was big, comfortable, very clean. The restaurant is lovely, outside (beware of mosquitoes), but well covered, the food is excellent, and I was glad to be able to order my food in Kannada (as I am currently learning the language) with Satik and another young waiter, I feel grateful for the practice! Coming out of the room we had a few on the rocks colour almond (baadaami, that is where the name of the city comes from), above the nice gardens, quite amazing! We would love to stay there again! Matte SigoNa!

This is my second stay at this resort - I had been here some time ago (maybe ~6 years ago) - and I was pleasantly surprised at how it seems to have been maintained so well through all these years. The garden is small but lush and the place is as clean as I first encountered it. A new impression this time around was of the suite; I was sent photos of it before I arrived and was told of its amenities, but the photos did not do it justice. It gave me a real sense of spaciousness with uncluttered furniture and a few nice plants. It had a really large sitting room and bedroom, full and half bathrooms, and a kitchenette, and I had the feeling that I could get settled and stay here for an extended period quite happily. Full disclosure - the owner is a relative of mine but the above is my own experience.

Nice and cozy hotel in Badami. Right outside the hotel so it's (much) quieter than this buzzling city. Its only 2 miles from the Badami temples and caves. The owner and the staff are so nice! You feel welcomed and they'll do whatever they Can to please you so that you feel comfortable. Beautiful bungalows surrounded by a green and Lush garden. Its restaurant, only veg, is excellent and very affordable compared to the others i've been in India. The Best place to be if you want to visit this wonderful site that is Badami,. Which a must in Karnataka

We stayed here for a night, the room & toilet were big, the rooms had lots of problems but our overall stay was very comfortable. The positives – Both the dinner and the breakfast were simple but good. The place seems very popular with the locals, especially at dinner time. We didn’t have any mosquitoes/flies, which is surprising considering it is pretty green around the area with gardens. Even the best high-end properties struggle on this front. The staff and management are on the older side with many of them being ladies. I just didn’t feel comfortable letting an old lady carry my luggage, besides that, they are very friendly and give a homely kind of feel. The area needing improvement - The ac didn’t work, we were told it will start after 10 minutes but it never did, as the weather was decent, we didn’t bother the management again. The TV didn’t have a signal, we were told it is the problem with the cable provider in the local area, so we had to watch a match on phone. The bathroom shower had a leak, not much of an issue considering we were there only for a night but it does need a change.

This is a good hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are large and airy. The hotel has a central courtyard, which has gardens, trees and flowers - making it a very pleasant environment to stay in when visiting a dry and arid region such as Badami. However, we did not get a double bed, instead two single beds joined together - quite uncomfortable when traveling with my husband. The bathrooms also need modernizing with proper showers. Currently ones needs to use a bucket and mug for baths. This was the most uncomfortable for us. Finally the intercom system was not working either. Now coming to the best part of this hotel - the food was very good. And Ms Vijaylaxmi the hotel manager was extremely warm, welcoming and efficient. If it weren't for her, our stay would have been quite uncomfortable indeed. Despite the intercon not working, she offered her number for us to call on anytime requiring any room service or anything else. She made sure our AC started working properly (while all others failed) and even woke up cheerful at 6 am to make sure we had water in our bathroom for an early morning shower before visiting the cave temples. Ms Vijaylaxmi is The Heritage Resort Badami's greatest asset.
