We have stayed there 2 nights as a couple in July 2022, to reach our room we walked through the beautiful gardens. The room was big, comfortable, very clean. The restaurant is lovely, outside (beware of mosquitoes), but well covered, the food is excellent, and I was glad to be able to order my food in Kannada (as I am currently learning the language) with Satik and another young waiter, I feel grateful for the practice! Coming out of the room we had a few on the rocks colour almond (baadaami, that is where the name of the city comes from), above the nice gardens, quite amazing! We would love to stay there again! Matte SigoNa!

This is my second stay at this resort - I had been here some time ago (maybe ~6 years ago) - and I was pleasantly surprised at how it seems to have been maintained so well through all these years. The garden is small but lush and the place is as clean as I first encountered it. A new impression this time around was of the suite; I was sent photos of it before I arrived and was told of its amenities, but the photos did not do it justice. It gave me a real sense of spaciousness with uncluttered furniture and a few nice plants. It had a really large sitting room and bedroom, full and half bathrooms, and a kitchenette, and I had the feeling that I could get settled and stay here for an extended period quite happily. Full disclosure - the owner is a relative of mine but the above is my own experience.

Nice and cozy hotel in Badami. Right outside the hotel so it's (much) quieter than this buzzling city. Its only 2 miles from the Badami temples and caves. The owner and the staff are so nice! You feel welcomed and they'll do whatever they Can to please you so that you feel comfortable. Beautiful bungalows surrounded by a green and Lush garden. Its restaurant, only veg, is excellent and very affordable compared to the others i've been in India. The Best place to be if you want to visit this wonderful site that is Badami,. Which a must in Karnataka

We stayed here for a night, the room & toilet were big, the rooms had lots of problems but our overall stay was very comfortable. The positives – Both the dinner and the breakfast were simple but good. The place seems very popular with the locals, especially at dinner time. We didn’t have any mosquitoes/flies, which is surprising considering it is pretty green around the area with gardens. Even the best high-end properties struggle on this front. The staff and management are on the older side with many of them being ladies. I just didn’t feel comfortable letting an old lady carry my luggage, besides that, they are very friendly and give a homely kind of feel. The area needing improvement - The ac didn’t work, we were told it will start after 10 minutes but it never did, as the weather was decent, we didn’t bother the management again. The TV didn’t have a signal, we were told it is the problem with the cable provider in the local area, so we had to watch a match on phone. The bathroom shower had a leak, not much of an issue considering we were there only for a night but it does need a change.

This is a good hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are large and airy. The hotel has a central courtyard, which has gardens, trees and flowers - making it a very pleasant environment to stay in when visiting a dry and arid region such as Badami. However, we did not get a double bed, instead two single beds joined together - quite uncomfortable when traveling with my husband. The bathrooms also need modernizing with proper showers. Currently ones needs to use a bucket and mug for baths. This was the most uncomfortable for us. Finally the intercom system was not working either. Now coming to the best part of this hotel - the food was very good. And Ms Vijaylaxmi the hotel manager was extremely warm, welcoming and efficient. If it weren't for her, our stay would have been quite uncomfortable indeed. Despite the intercon not working, she offered her number for us to call on anytime requiring any room service or anything else. She made sure our AC started working properly (while all others failed) and even woke up cheerful at 6 am to make sure we had water in our bathroom for an early morning shower before visiting the cave temples. Ms Vijaylaxmi is The Heritage Resort Badami's greatest asset.

We stayed at the Heritage Resort, Badami for three days. The cottage was spacious andvery comfortable facing a nice garden. The staff are very hospitable and took good care of us. The food was very good too. The location is great as it is 2 kms away from the town center on the highway, just 2 kms from the Railway station. Definitely recommend this place for everyone.

You might need to stay here since there aren't any good hotels in Badami, but it definitely should not be your first choice. The place is neither "Heritage" nor "Resort". They just have a tiny garden-area enclosed from all sides with a swing in it. Location is practically right on the highway, unless you arrive in a car, you will be struck in that place till you hire a cab, and there are no restaurants nearby to eat. Saying this because the North Indian food served in this hotel off the menu is pathetic. We staying in an AC Cottage (not all the rooms have AC) and the room and bathroom were spacious. We had booked for Breakfast+Dinner to be included in the package. While the breakfast was fine, the dinner was not really buffet, they just asked us to pick items off the ala-carte menu. On first day we tried two North-Indian curries, both were horrible. There is no Tandoori Roti or Naan available so we ordered plain paratha which were basically huge and half-cooked. There are no desserts or any sweet-dish on the menu at all and there was not even Ice-Cream available in the restaurant even if we were willing to pay for it additionally. The only two items worth having off the menu were Tea and Sweet Lassi. We wanted Butter-Toast for breakfast, and they provided it with Jam with the excuse that Butter is not available. On second day, we had lunch at Clarks Inn Badami which was fantastic. Staff members were very courteous. But unless you speak Kannada there is language problem. Some staff members do understand Hindi so you have to have them translate stuff. Though the room was clean but lacked maintainence: the table top of one of the bedside tables was missing, so we had to stoop very low to pick up the mobile to see the time at night which was very inconvenient. The flush was broken such that when we flushed all the water used to overflow on the floor of the bathroom, we did raise a complain on Day 1 but was not fixed till Day 3 when we checked-out finally. There was a Dettol bottle kept in the bathroom as hand-wash which was totally diluted, had less soap and more water in it. Wifi was reasonably good and was available at least in our room. For a detailed itinerary of a 7-Day trip to Hampi, Aihole, Pattadakal, Badami & Jog Falls near Shimoga from Bangalore, feel free to visit the Links tab on my profile on TripAdvisor.

This is the best option available in and around Badami to explore the historical places. We stayed for 2 nights in AC cottages and stay was extremely comfortable. The real highlight is the food they serve, authentic north karnataka food served was amazing. Staff here are courteous and did help a lot. Highly recommended place to stay, if u r planning for Badami trip

We felt very comfortable and friendly during our two nights stay. Room was clean, cleaned daily and gave fresh linen. Food is very good, in fact they prepared specially less spicy for us. The monuments are about 5 kms away and this resort is on the main National Highway road. Lift is under renovation, so take ground floor rooms if necessary. Madam Vijayalakshmi in the Front office is very helpful. Badami town is congested, noisy and not clean, but the resort location is free of these problems.

We had an amazing trip thanks to the manager, Mr. T Nagesh. He helped us with a driver and a guide who took us to all the heritage sites. If you go to Badami, you must only stay at Badami Heritage Resort. The food at the resort was homely and the entire staff made our stay comfortable.
