Visited Badami for Goddess Banashankashari Darshan. It was a family trip and after Darshan visited the restaurant for Veg. Thali. The Thali was sumptuous and delicious. It was served quickly and was very aptly priced at just Rs. 100/- I recommend this for lunch or...More
Friendly, clean, quiet place just outside the village. In the shadow of the cliffs. We got a cottage. Room was clean and spacious, with chairs on a veranda outside. Grounds well kept. Veg restaurant good quality. Peter at the desk was exceptionally helpful and kind....More
The hotel is very clean. Stayed in AC rooms. Bathrooms are very clean. Helped us getting auto. Food is very great. Very good place to stay in Badami. Staff's are very accomodating. Worth for what we pay.
We have come here yesterday with 10 family members. This place looks good from outside. But there are several reasons why we will not refer this to others.
1. Food is horrible, no taste , one common taste - just sour
2. Very less option...More

a. take an auto (share or own) from outside the resort and go to the bus stand. Share auto charges Rs. 10 per person. If you are the type qho seeks a life away from the normal try this. It is fun :) Having your your own auto, is another option.
from the bus stand, take an auto to go the caves. You will find plenty just opposite to the bus stand. I paid Rs. 40 to go to the caves.
b. you can ask the resort management, Mr. Masur or Mr. Narayan to arrange a cab for you. they will tell you the prices.
As for restaurants, the resort serves vegetarian food for lunch and dinner which I found to be delicious as they serve the local specialities. They serve thali for lunch and buffet for dinner. There is a restaurant in Clarks Inn which is on the way to the Caves. I have not tried this though. Another option is Udipi restaurant Banashree which is located diagonal to the bus stand which erves veg food.
Hope this information helps.
