Because of paucity of decent options in Badami one is left with very little choice for a stay. I went in January 2018 to visit historic sights in Badami, Aihole & Pattadakal, and stayed at this place for two nights.
The place is small, certainly...More

This is an awesome resort in badami. If you stay here prefer to stay in cotteges. They really nice. Even non cottage rooms are very clean and very very spacious. They should improve food quality which i feel was average.

a. take an auto (share or own) from outside the resort and go to the bus stand. Share auto charges Rs. 10 per person. If you are the type qho seeks a life away from the normal try this. It is fun :) Having your your own auto, is another option.
from the bus stand, take an auto to go the caves. You will find plenty just opposite to the bus stand. I paid Rs. 40 to go to the caves.
b. you can ask the resort management, Mr. Masur or Mr. Narayan to arrange a cab for you. they will tell you the prices.
As for restaurants, the resort serves vegetarian food for lunch and dinner which I found to be delicious as they serve the local specialities. They serve thali for lunch and buffet for dinner. There is a restaurant in Clarks Inn which is on the way to the Caves. I have not tried this though. Another option is Udipi restaurant Banashree which is located diagonal to the bus stand which erves veg food.
Hope this information helps.
