Travelled to badami solo and stayed here for a night. Had booked lodge room as I was alone and the room was pretty big and neat and well maintained and more than enough to accommodate family of three. This place is very close by to badami caves and fort and on the way to pattadakal and aihole. Go for it!
This is a hidden gem in Badami. We stayed in a cottage for 5 days. A simple clean, place, not too many amenities; but that was never missed as we had so much sightseeing to do as history buffs :) Staff are super friendly; always smiling and helpful; look after you like family. Manager Vijayalaksmi is par excellence; very resourceful; planned a superb itinerary for us. The cab services of Riyaz was excellent. The GM is another amazing, warm person..always smiling. Will go back if we get another chance. Highly recommend this place.
Very good staff and hospatility. Resort Area is very naturalistic and relaxing place. Food is satisfactory is available. One can without fear, safely enjoy and stay in this resort. With further developments this resort can be excellent.
Ms Vijaya laxmi at the reception was an exceptionally helpful person ,we had gone for 2 days to Badami from Hampi and our return journey to pune was booked by train .unfortunately a lot of confusion was there regarding the train as it was coming from Bangalore and correct info was not available,Vijaylaxmi helped us to book a cab from Badami to Pune at 9 o clock in the night within 1/2 hour of my request;she was really thoughtful about packing our lunch next day and ensuring a safe journey for us
Positives Clean property , even though we were travelling during corona times - we didn't feel scared at all. Rooms are spacious, Clean Linen - nice additional bed for the extra person. All basic facilities are done right in the room. Bathroom too was neat and clean ( except for broken shower). Very close to all the mains tourist places in Badami. Helpful staff and very knowledgable Manager. Negatives Well, most of my concern is around food. Options are limited and generic since there are not many eating options nearby - you are left with no choice. Why don't you promote local food - all the dishes had generic gravy with the paneer, mushroom \ vegetables thrown into it. Curd and Chapati were decent. Why not serve local dishes, promote Karnataka - at least add some local dishes in your menu to start with. Breakfast got over before the breakfast timings, we had to beg for refills - Though on both the days breakfast was tasty but we had to compromise on the quantity.…
