I did a stopover on my way heading further north. After a long drive it was a very nice feeling arriving to this small hotel. A very welcoming feeling that was felt as soon as entering the hotel. The breakfast was very good and it as a very relaxed feeling in the breakfast room.
Absolutely a great little hotel. Wonderful restaurant. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. We will always stay here during visits to Vilhelmina. Located centrally in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of off street parking.
One night overlay for the 10:th year in a row on our jorney north. Dinner buffet comes as good as it gets! In my mind it deserves a Michelin Star. Friendly and proffesional staff, the northen hospitality shines through. // TeamVirisen Mattias ”Attackdykarn” Eklund
First, this is more of a guest house than a hotel - which was fine with us. It's off the main highway so you don't get any traffic noise. We stayed two nights here and our room was simple, clean, and affordable. The breakfast had very good choices and we ate here for dinner both nights as well. The dinners were good home cooking with salad choices and local Swedish dishes. The women that run this hotel are absolutely wonderful! We had asked for a quiet room and Emily went out of her way to make sure we were happy and had a good night's sleep (and we did!). Everyone working there seemed so happy to help with anything. This little hotel with a heart won the prize for the friendliest, helpful service on our two months of travel. Highly recommended!
Lilla hotellet is a real bargain. A small place in the middle of the village. It doesn't claim to be a luxury hotel. It is more like a guest house. Very simple but nice and very clean. The breakfast is basic. The staff is very friendly and service minded. The location could not be better. Parking right outside. Very quiet rooms. Comfortable bed. Good linen. Good curtains to make the room really dark, which is really important during summer in the north. Slept like a baby. TV in all rooms. Good free wi-fi. The bathroom is a bit simple but totally acceptable and functional. Lilla hotellet is well managed and I really loved the place in all its simplicity.
Great hotel. Really friendly staff. We left early so they went the extra mile and made us breakfast and left it in the fridge to pick up. Room was great really clean and fresh. Amazing sauna free to use.
Centrally located, informal staff which was a real plus. Cozy setting, tasty cold buffet breakfast and free tea and coffee all day long. Beds were comfortable and room was functional. Very glad we chose this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Fairly spacious rooms. Bathrooms are old but tidy. Staff very friendly. The evening meal was inexpensive and really excellent. And most importantly: This hotel is located in a quiet area - the other hotel in town is located directly at the motorway.
Drab green on the outside but hides its heart well. We stayed for the night here and had a very pleasent stay - would recommend it strongly. Breakfast was good, the rooms were comfortable and the location, close to the train station is very handy
Cozy and charming! I'd love to come back next time I'm passing through. The staff are incredibly charming and welcoming. They really seem to enjoy running a hotel. The only thing I can put my finger on is the beds. Didn't go well with my back.
