The hotel does not honor reservations guaranteed by advance payment. It happened on Jan 9, 2020, with a prepaid reservation. The reception first claimed that my reservation had been cancelled, then that my reservation "was" in another hotel of their network, in another town near Itajaí, and that they didn’t have any apartment available in the Itajaí unit. Soon after another guest checked in, and the reception claimed he was a guest "of a company". Then the commercial manager by phone claimed that a cruise ship did not dock, they were overbooked, and had "relocated" me to another hotel in another city. After all, they had some apartments booked "for companies" and almost an hour later, given my threat to notify the competent authorities, I ended up being accommodated - for the last time of course - in this hotel.…
Very comfortable hotel and near everything (restaurants, department store and supermarket). Hotel director Antonio is always ready to address any need you have in the hotel and region. Afternoon tea is one of the hotel highlights.
Very nice room.. quite trendy.. comfy bed.. a little fruit salad was waiting when I arrived.. which I thought was a nice touch.. very clean. Breakfast today was really good.. except the coffee machine is complicated An creates a queue at busy times.. annoying when u need a coffee quick! it was early! Lol all in all a good standard and a nice environment for a work trip.
The rooms are to small. The bathroom has a lower level than expected and the breakfast was just fair. There is a lot to improve. Maybe next time they have made and effort to walk the extra mile. To improve means to have a better team.
The new tower room's are great , modern and silent. It is perfect for those who go to Itajaí for tourism or work. The service staff is very nice. The hotel is very well located. I recommend this hotel.
Hotels lobby and bar/restaurant area nice and tidy, rooms are Little worn out but still ok. it is a pity though that the hotel is under construction which comes with a lot of noise in the daytime during weekdays.
The hotel itself was lovely. Not far from the beaches and the lobby, restaurant and pool area were all very clean. However the rooms need a bit of work. They seemed very old, in need of renovation and there were a few bugs. Try and get a room facing the back of the hotel, as the main road can get quite busy.
I stayed at the Sandri Palace for a couple of hours and I'm glad that I did not have to stay longer. While the location, layout and facade of the hotel are decent enough, it is clear that the hotel is just not maintained. My room had a nice little sit-out and was adequately appointed with a clean and spacious bathroom. However, the rest of the room was musty, cramped, and had bugs. The rooms also have little to no sound insulation and all the ambient noise from the street and other rooms filters through. Its clear that proper maintenance has not been carried out on the rooms in a long time. I ate breakfast (buffet) and lunch at the two restaurants and both of them are rather nice, although, they do not offer too many options. Wi-Fi is free, fast and reliable. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool but judging by its looks, it too is in dire need of some maintenance. I did not dare to take a dip in it. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, although you can expect language barriers, if you do not communicate in Portuguese.…
Is not so good as it seems to be. The rooms are ok, comfortables beds and good showers. Although part of the wood of the bathroom's door felt down on the floor while I was there. The elevator was not working for 3 days. The swimming pool was dirty (my boyfriend had his foot cut with something inside the pool) and the fitness room was precarious with almost no equipment. At the restaurant there wasn't good options of alcoholic drinks, wines and champagnes (I was there for my holidays - New Year's Eve). I wont come back there anymore.
. The rooms are a little old but very clean. Definetely a business hotel with an honest service; . The elevator is small but efficient; . Nice breakfast; . The hotel is next to the "Via Gastronômica", an avenue full of good restaurants so take some time to dinner outside; . Good wi-fi in the rooms (beyond my spectations).
