The shower was dirty, full of hair and we only had two towels, there were no face towels. The room was nice though. Parking is subject to charges and costs 12 francs, is too much! All in all it was not bad, hotel recommended for young couples not for adults.

We stayed in this comfortable hotel for 2 nights. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good with a good food offer. · The room was a little bit small, but was ok. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Fribourg.

I found the Ibis Budget Fribourg hotel exactly what I expect from Ibis in that the room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the hotel close to public transport and offering various food options which are inexpensive. The checkin was simple and efficient, with the ground floor reception area having snacks and pre-made food available for purchase as well as some travel brochures etc. The staff were polite. The room size was fine - not spacious but I just use the hotel to sleep and shower - not to live. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff did a very good job ensuring the room was always clean when I returned in the evening each day. The TV channels were plentiful and the shower space was appropriate. The bus stop was a 2 min walk from the hotel which had direct access to the Fribour city centre and train station. I travelled from the train station with my 2 bags without issue, making sure the hotel was indeed easy to access. In all, I would have no issue recommending the Ibis Budget Fribourg hotel to those who use the hotel as place to sleep and shower, not to live.…

Room size was OK. Bathroom design was really bad. This was a first ever stay at Ibis hotels and I would not recommend Ibis Budget hotels to anyone with family. Even for a single person staying, I would call it only so-so. Definitely worth less than Budget.

We were placed at this hotel by our insurance company for 8 nights after I had a heart attack and the staff were so helpful and supportive during our stay. We cannot thank the manager enough. The hotel is a bus ride away from the town centre, and although the room was small, it was more than adequate. 99% of guests stay here for 1 night, but we found the room adequate for a longer stay. It was kept immaculate, as was all of the amenities, and the restaurant at the Ibis opposite served good food.The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of variety. Thanks again to all the staff.
