We spent 11 nights at Les Alicourts and the kids were disappointed to be leaving. Check in was fine. We had a select 3 bed with deck with Canvas and included a dishwasher which was great. The caravan was good. Swimming complex was fabulous. There was the usual scrum for sun loungers with people reserving beds very early. One day...

Whilst you can't dispute that this campsite has got great facilities, the whole just didn't add up for me. It was too much like butlins or haven holidays. All a bit cheap and naff. The entertainment was truly terrible, I heard agadoo 4 times in 6 days -why?!?!! The accommodation was squashed so tightly together and overpriced. Some camping pitches...

Site has all the facilities needed for a great holiday. Pool was great! The lake is a big bonus considering there is nothing around for miles Shop, Bar and restaurant are very expensive! WiFi is extortionate at €6 a day and it doesn't work!!!! And the campsite even write on your ticket that it may not work! Would have given...

We stayed here for nine nights in August and found everything we could wish for from a campsite. Great facilities all on site and a great area to explore the region. The swimming pools do get busy from time to time but hey it's peak season and you always have the lake next to it to swim in. Well stocked...

Stayed for a week with the children and we all had a fabulous time. Lots to do, very helpful and friendly staff, it was clean and safe. All set in the beautiful Loire area. Already planning our return visit next year.

Booked mobile with Eurocamp. Great pitch with plenty of room to set up badminton! Had lovely holiday, helped by temperatures well into 30s for the whole of the 2 weeks. The best campsite we've stayed at. Brilliant facilities/activities-the best of which was fantastic large lake with lakeside beach down one side. Great for swimming, inflatables and you could hire paddle...

After a week in Ile de Re squeezed into a Chalet where you couldn't open the windows wide as you'd hit the chalet next-door this place was family heaven. Booked with Canvas and got a 6 month old Moda Plus 3 bed chalet. Canvas kid club staff amazing, space to roam around and get lost for an hour or so,...

Okay, so the kids will love it. So if you just want a place kids will like - then go. However... be in doubt, this place wants your money. Everything costs. And costs big. The accommodation - not cheap. Restaurant - not cheap. Bar - not cheap. Activities and spa - not cheap. Shop - not cheap. They even CHARGE...

Had a pitch near the lake for 10 days late August. The pitches are large and there is loads for children to do. The great weather helped. A fantastic site with pool slides and lake and OK entertainment in the evening ...we might return. The loos had seats and soap...a rarity in my short 3 year French camping experience. If...
