Stayed in a cottage around 15 minutes walk away from this pub. They have specials nights - Monday curry, Tuesday Italian and Wednesday steak night. We went on a Tuesday and I had home made lasagne with salad, garlic bread and a pint of local cider for £8.95 which is very reasonable. The meal was delicious and we watched some...

Visited last night - we both ordered a starter creamy garlic mushrooms which were delicious, and chicken wings with barbecue sauce. A small paper container with a couple of teaspoons of generic bbq sauce and 4 'wings', 3 of these may have been chicken but lack of meat meant we couldn't say. However the 4th object was just a lump...

Been here before on holiday it's lovely. Through the week there is curry or Italian / steak night under a tenner and depending on which night you get a drink in with it. This pub has many local brews draft beers and ciders to choose from. You can stay in the pub of attached holiday cottages see pics

Lovely stay, very pleasant staff, moved us to a larger room although the bathroom was very small, as we were there for more than one night. Great breakfast. My only issue was that there were too many cobwebs in the room, didn't like that, room 4, and the fan in the bathroom badly needed cleaning. Other than that, lovely stay,...

I have recently visited Weymouth and we decided to visit here for our evening meal. my son has a milk allergy and cannot have any dairy, The menu was brilliant everything told you exactly what was in each dish making it a relaxing experience rather than having to ask what was in each thing. Once my son had finished his...

Our second visit to this tucked away inn/restaurant/hotel was again a winner. A warm welcome from the hostess, attentive service, very nice real ale together with a 'home made' curry made for another very pleasant dining experience. The quality of the curry was very good with lots of lean cut beef and was probably one of the best pub curries...

Wonderful evening at the lugger, nothing was too much trouble. The food.....plenty of choice, decent price, hot and tasty. The desserts where just the right size too,not 'in your face'! The staff where very pleasant and helpful, even leaving a card and present on our birthday table which was decorated by the staff. A fab surprise. Can't wait to re...

Staff were epic, but the interior was exceptionally dated with the only thing pre-dating the decor was the menu. Menu ran to several pages of blandness, and unfortunately the execution matched the menu. Both my wife and had the grilled chicken (myself with honey and mustard, wife with lemon and garlic). It was exactly what it said on the packet...

Recently had my father's wake here for what we thought would be about 50 people. Actually more people arrived than expected, which was lovely - the staff at the Lugger were fantastic, just kept more food coming without any fuss, which was a great relief at what was a sensitive time. Food was lovely, scrummy scones and clotted cream, table...
