My wife and I stayed here for one night. The owner was very welcoming and our room was decorated to the highest order as was the bathroom with Victorian fittings. The breakfast was excellent too with locally sourced high quality produce. Highly recommended

We stayed for one night after a day at River Cottag and an evening meal at the River Cottage canteen in Axminster. Great location and the host made us feel both welcomed but also allowed privacy. Would be about a 5-10 minute walk to the b&b from the river cottage canteen, or cost us £4 to get back after dinner...

We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay in this delightful, friendly and well run house. It is very well decorated in keeping with the period of the house and spotlessly clean. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable and homely. The breakfast menu is varied, delicious and substantial; a great start to any day. Possibly the...

A lovely stay in a very tastefully decorated, beautiful house we every small detail had been thought about. Fiona was great and all staff very polite. We have never stayed anywhere that had such good products in the bathroom and a great selection of tea's coffee's and biscuits and enough milk so you could have more than one cup. Really...

Stayed here 2 nights on a cookery course at River Cottage. We were welcomed by Fiona with just the right degree of efficiency and friendliness and the beautiful Beatrix her gorgeous Newfoundland dog. We were delighted with the gorgeous Georgian House, so beautiful, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. All the comforts you ever wish for, even a coat was provided...

Beautiful manor house in a gorgeous setting and a wonderful personal service. We were greeted at the door by Beatrice the friendly family dog :) she was ever so friendly and good natured. Clean and tasteful decor in the room and the most gorgeous bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. They have really thought of everything. One of the...

This is a beautiful house, and grounds, a few minutes walk fro the town centre. Fiona is a lovely host and could not have been more helpful. A huge bathroom always helps and ours was no exception. We had a large bedroom at the front of the house on the first floor, named Gardenia. It was immaculate and complete with...

We stayed for two nights at this lovely small hotel. We were greeted very warmly, given recommendations for where to dine locally al before we were shown to our room. By the time we got our bags in, reservations had been made and a taxi ordered for the time we selected. Brilliant. This hotel is within walking distance of the...

We stopped here for 2 night as we were booked at River Cottage HQ for a meal and concert. We were warmly greeted by Fiona. The house was spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed, an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The bathroom was spacious with fluffy towels and robes. We stopped here for 1 night as we were booked at River Cottage for a birthday meal. We were warmly greeted, both by Fiona and her gorgeous teddy-bear of a dog! We stayed in Jasmine, which was spotlessly clean, with a comfy memory foam mattress, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, plus kettle with coffee, a good selection of teas,...
