Extra charging than agreed amount ...food of sadya for my marriage was terrible ....very bad reception and owner lady behaviour.....room also below average....ac in one of the room not working ..the room change happened after hours
The auditorium authority is so irresponsible that I have sent a mail and texted them called them several time regarding the booking of the auditorium on 9th sep paied the advance amount also na I have to cancel it because of their issue regarding no communication the denied the refund
The hotel is just a 2 minute walk to the temple. Rooms are good and clean. Staff is very humble and helpful. Their food quality is also very good. Reservations can be done by directly calling or by any hotel portals. Prices are very economical as per the location.
i stayed in mayura residency guruvayoor,location of the hotel is good just walkable distance from the sree guruvayoorappan temple,all the hotel staffs are very friendly,hotel ambiance was too good also the lobby and reception areas.
We are total 7 rooms and been located in 4th floor. The rooms are very bad and smelly. Wonder how come this hotel been ranked at 3 stars. They had given us with dusty room and most of the bathroom amenities are with rust. Almost all the room are on repair. I asked the reception manager MsDeepa to get back to me but it seems she can't do nothing. I have been told that the hotel GM Mr Krishnan are on leave. Such a shamefull hotel management which not up to the expectation. We regret to book the hotel here. We will never come here again!!!Disappointed!
I came to Guruvayur with family and booked two rooms. They allocated rooms at 4th floor even when there are vacant rooms in other floors below. The rooms are very pathetic. The thing that annoy me the most is the bathroom 😡. The exhaust is not working, shower tap is faulty and only got hot water. In the room there is no ambient light (felt like I am in a Bar). TV Set top box is not working. The corridor lights outside our door is not working.
We booked an AC room with breakfast included. We confirmed the same on arrival. When we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast the following day, the lady staff, Priyanka informed us in a rude manner that our booking is not inclusive of breakfast. We told her our booking is with breakfast again. She brought a booking print out and showed us that breakfast was extra. When I checked the name of booking, it's not in my name and in the name of some other customer. The staff Priyanka addressed me after the name of the other person as mentioned in the booking slip in her hand. I got mad and lost my cool. After that their receptionist arrived and they started to justify their non sense Claims. We clearly Informed our room number to the staff Priyanka. They repeatedly mistook our room number and even after informing about the mistake was arrogant. Second issue. AC remote was not working. We informed the hotel about the same. They did something and made it worked again. Late night power went off and AC got turned off. We tried to turn it back on and the remote is dead again. To make matters worse, the AC repair guy entered inside our room with his chapels on. We stopped him the second time. No wonder three of their floors are empty.…

Stayed at Mayura Residency January 18/2019. Went there due to my very positive experience of a couple of stays there a few years ago. However extremely disappointed this time. The property is in a very dilapidated condition. The bathrooms/toilets were non functional even on a supposedly premium AC room!!! The towels and the sheets were dirty, seems NOT to have changed from the past user!!! Called the housekeeping to take care, but non responsive for repairs, but they gave a bit cleaner after several requests. The worst expereince at the restaurant at the supposedly "free included breakfast". There was a buffet of Idli and uppuma. However was kept very unhygenic conditions. There was no one near the service area, no spoons/ladles to take it! people were taking second servings using their dirty hands!!!! Interesting thing was that there was a table with a western family, and they were given CLEANER food!!! As if the INDIANs don'd deserve clean food!!!…
Overall the experience ranged between average to good but there are too many irritating factors which may be avoided if the management decides.. Location of the hotel is the biggest advantage.. and restaurant experience is the worst .. Pros: 1. Walk-able distance to Guruvayoor temple.. 2. Ambience of hotel is good.. 3. Staff was friendly 4. Room was neatly organized with facilities like electric kettle... 5. Toiletries were supplied including a shaving kit.. Cons: 1. Pls refrain from giving such tasteless and option less complimentary breakfast... Period.. 2. Some reviews had mentioned ample parking space, I didn't experience so.. however they collect the keys of vehicles obstructing the parking which makes the situation manageable.. but it is not desirable if you want to use your vehicle frequently.. 3. Bathrooms were very small.. 4. Positioning of ceiling fans make it pretty much useless..…
