The night before we asked Osman if we could leave really early for the morning boat trip, he said it wasn't a problem so we were all set for a 6am cruise. At about 540am, there was a knock on our door. Initially I thought it was him waking us up in his exuberant way but he was extra excited...

My friend and I stayed here for 3D4N and we loved it! Communication beforehand was seemless via WhatsApp. The house can only be reached by boat from Sukau jetty (5min) and from its veranda one has a beautiful view of the Kinabatangan river. The rooms and bathrooms are simple but absolutely sufficient. Yanti is extremely friendly and cooked delicious meals...

My partner and I stayed with Osman and his family for two nights. They had organised a driver to pick us up from the Sukau junction after busing from Semporna. This was seamless using WhatsApp. We were incredibly impressed and thankful for the outstanding homely accommodation and hospitality, Yanti was so lovely! And even more impressed by the morning/night river...

Osman....what can I say...staying with your wonderful family and you was a privilege in itself...each and every family member including Yenti and the kids were very gracious and warm towards us...the food was really good, including the vegetarian dishes...we saw so many wonderful animals, reptiles and birds...an absolutely surreal atmosphere where you're surrounded by thick jungles , and your sole...

I stayed at Osman's for 3 nights and overall really enjoyed my trip! I was the only one staying at the time and only called he day before I came, but Osman still took care of me and I got to see amazing animals. His home is simple but very nice and the bed was comfy, plus there was a...

First of all I have to thank Osman and his wife again for making our stay very special.  We are a German couple and did stay there for 3 nights and 4 days.                                                        Staying at Osman's house means you do have your private room and two shared bathrooms with the family. The shower water is directly coming from the...

If you want the perfect guide - Your search is over! Osman is the leading star! We have had the most exciting and hilarious three days here! Don't miss this experience if you are in Borneo, or Sabah which is the name they prefer in the Malaysian part of Borneo. He showed us fantastic things! For example we saw a...

Osmans Home stay is a good budget option. He is very good in finding animals, and even though it is a budget option he doesn’t take too big groups. He is friendly, but I didn’t appreciate some of his sexist jokes, I made that clear, and then he was grumpy for a day. He might want to consider updating his...

I spent a few days at Osman´s house and highly recommend him and his lovely family; but that is not a place for everybody, if you are looking for comfort and people waiting to please your whims then you should consider a fancy lodge and pay accordingly, actually those lodges are just a few minutes away down and up the...
