We stayed there for one night only on our way down to Sorède in the PO region and wished we had at least one more night given the Michelin 1 star restaurant at the hotel was closed on the night we were there but c'est la vie. However, all was not lost as the hotel recommended a restaurant in a...

I visit with my wide about once a year. The staff always recognise us a treat us as valued customers. The staff are exceptional especially the owners wife and Fabian whose knowledge of wine is unsurpassed and is happy to recommend a cheaper wine if it has a better taste. We had the half tasting menu plus aperitifs, wine and...

We stayed for two nights in September. We just wanted to relax and this was the place to do it. The property was idyllic, with flowers everywhere. The sound of water lulled you to sleep and was an instant sedative. We had dinner in the restaurant and opted for the prix fixe. It was truly one of the most memorable...

An old mill by the river Dronne with rock gardens and a swimming pool. The restaurant is designed to include original features and the food and quality of service is excellent. The attention to detail and the concern to suit all tastes and ages (3-73) was special.

We are going to this hotel for over 10 years and it is always a pleasure. The staff is very helpful even if you have small problems with the room they will deal with it in no time. The hotel itself is very romantic next to a river with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and...

We stayed at some lovely places on our recent trip through the Loire Valley and down to Bordeaux, including a number of Relais & Chateaux properties, but this was our favourite of the trip. The room was spacious, with a fabulous covered balcony that had a full-size wood dining table and wicker chairs and overlooked the river. The outdoor dining...

We - and our dogs - loved this hotel. Great location, lovely grounds, helpful & friendly staff. Excellent Michelin 1-star restaurant (€75 for three courses) with a very good selection of reasonably priced wine. Breakfast is lovely too - huge. Tennis court and swimming pool. It's comfortable and peaceful but not "luxurious" thankfully.
