I stayed there with my son for 5 days, the room was clean, rather small and bathroom is very small but i knew that before going so that was fine. I have never been in a more quiet hotel room, loved that. We didn't have the breakfast but we had burgers and really liked them. I think it was reasonably priced considering the distance from center, it didn't bother us. The staff was always very helpful and friendly.

What a stunning city Lisboa is, so I was so looking forward to going there for a couple of nights stay with 4 of my work colleagues. However my first ever visit to Lisbon was marred by an unfortunate incident at the Ibis Hotel Lisboa Alfragide, which ruined my trip as I was treated like a criminal by one of the staff at reception, who was quite a young lad with obviously no customer skills, when checking out. I will now have to consider if I will ever stay again at an Accor hotel, if that is the type of staff that they are now employing. I booked 4 rooms for me and my four colleagues as I am an Accor Silver Card holder and used my points to cover part of my payment which gave me a 40 Euro Discount for the two night say on my room. It is a lovely hotel in a nice setting, but when I got to reception to check out, a couple of my colleagues were already there and advised me that the lad on reception was demanding 40 Euro's as this was an outstanding payment. Obviously the 40 Euro's he was demanding was my reward for being a good Accor member. However, even on showing him the e-mails for the booking confirmation that states nothing to pay at the hotel he was adamant that none of of us were leaving until the 40 Euro's was paid. With the breakfast room in close proximity I was conscious that other guests were listening and forming their opinions that maybe I was a crook not paying my bill. I have never been treated with such disrespect be a hotel receptionist in all the years I have spent travelling. Eventually he succumbed to his mistake and we were allowed to leave, but not before so much emotional damage had been cause. In a cut throat world of tourism Accor can only rectify the situation by an apology and assurances that this member of staff is removed from his job dealing front line with customers. Incidentally, most of the other staff at the hotel were not too bad, especially the young ladies at breakfast who always had a smile on their faces. Sorry Accor but you need to pull your socks up and act on this, before too many other guests get their trips ruined.

The hotel attends the standards of the Ibis hotel range with a nice clean room. Bathrooms are the "pods" that are installed in the corner so are very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful at check-in. The hotel is good situated next to one of the main roads and has free parking space.

Positive: Best calm and peaceful place Not difficult to go central points by public transportation or taxi Staff was awesome. Mathais at front desk was my man. Solved every problem quickly, helped to book car and many more. Breakfast was amazing and till 12 pm. Coffee is awesome. Fresh juices 🥤 were love. 24 hours hotel reception/Bar/Food Clean comfortable rooms Negative: Camping areas across the road, on weekend it was noisy. If you are driving by yourself, it’s difficult to follow the navigation because of complicated turns and exits around hotel. Pillows are very high. Result: Highly recommended, good value of money.

Booked the hotel for my 30th birthday. Arrived at 1 am on the 16th of May to find out my booking was cancelled. Online c-in done 2 days before. My credit card cant be charged overseas if i don't approve it. was on the plane with no signal and you tried in contacting wile i was on the plane. However you had a disability room that i can use for the night.Went in the room and found a dead fly and a hair on my sheets, hairdryer not working, bathroom door making a horrible noise, bathroom's bars for disability people were in horrible shape. Went down to reception and the receptionist offered to change my sheets. Being 1am i thought a fly and a hair is not that bad for a night. 16th in the morning, went to the reception to speak to somebody. No smiles at all, the receptionist told me i can speak with him and after i told him everything, he and the guys next to him started speaking Portuguese together in front of me. I found that to be very unprofessional and rude as i don't speak the language and could not understand what they were saying. The guy never even bothered to present himself or apologies for my discomfort. He asked my if i want to change the room, of course i want to change the room. I booked a standard double not a disability room. He gave me the card for 202, after i have packed everything up, went in the room, was a triple. Disappointed he doesn't have anything else available or doesn't understand the difference between standard double and triple i went back to the reception and told him i would keep the same room as this is ridiculous and i expect my issues in the room to be resolved before i come back from town. Wile we were speaking all of these they didn't even bother to look into my eyes and apologies for what happened. As this made me feel processed i have asked for a refund of my first night as per Accor 30 min policy. The guy went mad and started shaking and telling me that i am trying to rip them off because i know the rules and i should understand as i work in the business and so on. i cant describe the way he made me feel and the absurd, ridiculous and rude tone and looks that i got. This is no way to treat any humans at all, never mind me telling about the guests. Came back on the 16th @ 22:00 at the hotel to find out my bathroom door make the same noise and my fiance cant was her hair because the hairdryer wasn't fixed. Went down to the reception asked for one, after about 20 min was informed they don't have one. I've asked for a complain template, never heard anything from the reception so i went back to the room. after 30 min the receptionist came with one. This was already 17th of May @ 2:00 am. in the morning i went at the reception again to tell the my hairdryer was not fixed and the bathroom door is still making that horrible noise. In the meantime i found out the guy's name was Bruno, but don't know exactly what he is doing there. i've asked him if he has any news about my discount and he told me that he would not offer me one as the receptionist wanted to change my sheets. As i seen i have nobody to talk to i told him it's his decision but i've been in the hotel for more then 24 hours and the issues in my room haven't been solved. He told me he cant speak with me anymore and he will let me know later the outcome. Once again i was treated as nobody with disrespect and no apologies. i can go on and on about the front office staff members but i would ratter not as this is not something that i need to take care off. I could have gone over everything if Bruno would have just looked into my eyes and say a sincere sorry. I feel discussed that after 12 years in the business, a masters degree in hospitality and being the GM of a small posh boutique hotel for 4 years, i went to Lisbon to be treated as a homeless that is trying to rip the hotel off. I will stop here as this make me angry as am i writing this review. Besides this unfortunate events, the hotel is not that bad, a bit noisy in the morning from people slamming the doors and the ac does not work, even do there is a thermostat in the room it will give you the same temperature no mater how you set it up. Housekeeping was nice, specially after our complain. Breakfast was lovely and to be honest the girl in breakfast and they guy who checked us in where the only one who smiled and said hello or good morning. The patio in the garden is nice as you can have a coffee and a smoke. The hotel was pretty cleaned, not enough for the trained eye but as they are processing and it's very busy they don't care a lot. Well that's almost all as i don't want to carry on and reveal any other details that some other guest my try to take advantage and rip off the hotel. I will personally never book that hotel again and will not recommend to anybody else. PS: heard most of the staff members have been to the HEARTIST training more then once. don't feel like it!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Regarding your comments let me inform you that all bookings arriving after 18h must have a guarantee and in your case was not given with your card, for that reason you didn't have the room typology that you reserved. Relative to the state of the room was we apologized and presented the best solution for that reason there was no reason to offer us the stay as you wanted. As for the rest of the comments I will not add anything because in my view we talked and everything was resolved. Your comments about me and my team do not review the ratings made by thousands of other guests. I am available for any clarification. Thank you and my regards. Bruno Guerreiro Diretor
