We had an amazing stay during out trip to Tehri dam for 2 days. Infact, it offered us a feel of a palace more than a hotel, not only the building structure, but even the hospitality has royal touch. We relly loved the fact that he hotel LE Roi cared for even very trivial things. We would recommend to all tourist to this hotel who are planning the trip in this region.

I have given two stars just for it’s location and room interior. I stayed here for one night along with my family.
It’s not at all a family place. Whoever comes here , comes only for late parties , drinking and making noise. Rooms were not at all sound proof.
One of the Rooms was not cleaned when we checkin and they didn’t even provided basic amenities like towel, etc and we have to ask room service again and again for everything like extra blanket, towels , soaps , room freshener (one of the premium rooms was smelly)
Dine in on 4th floor is pathetic and service was really poor. We waited for 1.5hr for our dinner and that too was really expensive and not even taste according to the price.
This hotel chain (in Tehri) is the worst experience I had in my life . They charge insane amount of money and don’t even provide basic room service or food service.
Please don’t opt this property if you come with the family or looking to spend good amount of money in search of a pleasant and comfortable stay

We pre-booked Deluxe lake view rooms online for two nights.. Didn't expect such a bad experience: 1. View from one of the rooms was obstructed by a wall.. not sure why they were charging it as lake view.
2. They charge us like 4star hotel (bloody 6-7k per night) but they don't provide any toiletries (no dental kit, no shaiving kit, no shampoo, no shower gel).. when we asked the reception they simply denied that they don't provide any toiletries. Is this a dharmshala or a hotel?? When we spoke to the manager, he said they have mentioned on their website that they don't provide any toiletries.. But there is nothing mentioned on the website. Maybe he meant it's not written on the website so they don't provide.. (even the toilets are not mentioned so you should not expect any toilets.. lol)
3. The normal rooms without lake view don't even have a window.. it's so claustrophobic seems like you are stuck in a jail..
3. No fun activities, no indoor games.. nothing.
4. They have a long food menu.. but only limited items available. Not sure why they mentioned so many items in the menu..
5. Breakfast spread was not very vast
6. No wifi connection at all.. they say wifi will be available in the common lobby area.. but there is not even a chair in the lobby area if you want to use wifi.
7. Spider in rooms and toilet

Its a very nice property with a very beautiful view but to be very honest hopitality is not worth. We were expecting a overall tremendous experience while visiting this place but housekeeping services are very bad and they really don't bother even after multiple follow ups. Internet service is pathetic.
Now comes to the food, @gautam made us trip memorable with his service, behavior and cooperation. He is truly a gem for this property. We really love his work and we really appreciate him.

The hotel's **superb location** is a standout feature, making it convenient for guests to access nearby attractions. However, the overall **service quality** falls short. Upon arrival, there's no warm welcome, and the absence of valet parking is inconvenient. The **restaurant music** is too loud, creating an atmosphere more akin to a local establishment than a hotel. **EV parking** is problematic, with non-EV vehicles occupying the designated spots. Orders—whether in-room or at the restaurant—experience significant **delays**, and the lack of order note-taking leads to forgotten requests. To top it off, **expired butter sachets** are served, causing a fungal reaction after unwrapping. The hotel's **management** needs to be more proactive to avoid losing business.

Food stay rooms is superb specially GM sir Mr. Subhashit sen was very cooperating, food is delicious and every one has shown excellent hospitality. 208 room is very good. Lovely view from hotel. Restaurant location is so good. I really recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Pritam and aritro from restaurant is so good and shown special care. Lovely family trip we had.

Never expected such a poor stay. Reception so so. Room good but you don't have toiletries. Both the dispenser bottles marked as shampoos. No kits available. No cups for tea. You can take tea from glass. Towel single for couple. Food good but chicken kadai should be avoided, too coarse and stiff. Other than the location nothing good to say. Even complementary water was given 1 ltr instead of two. Hot water not available at least till 7.30 in the morning. The remote has worn out batteries. pesticide treatment not done it seems. Wished I could have said a few good words. I could have complained to the GM but can't be a crying babe. Took this route so they improve atleast hope so.

We were there for dinner and ordered Pasta in red sauce, veg hakka noodles, hot and sour soup, chicken manchow soup etc but nothing was good. The hospitality was pathetic they took too much time for the order, as if they were not prepared at all. Not advisable to visit this for food. On top of that the food is super expensive as if you are having the food in Khan Market. The portions are also small.
