The wife decided to book us a night away as we have both been working too hard. Arrived in what can only be described as a traditional country inn. Greeted by some very professional and friendly staff. Soon to our room and at that point was completely hooked on the inn. Gorgeous traditional yet stylish room. Went for dinner the...

Thanks to all the staff at the Angel for making our stay a very pleasant one. A special thank you to Becky. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was of multiple choice and cooked to perfection. We Stayed for three nights and sampled the evening menus. The food was excellent and the chef should be complimented. Would we go...

My daughter and I stayed overnight at the Angel Inn on route to a golf competition. We arrived late but the staff were friendly and accomodating, we were shown to our room which was located directly above the bar. The room was too noisy to sleep in, I went down to have a chat with the bar manager and he...

This is a really lovely little olde world pub/restaurant/ hotel. The room had everything you needed, but if you are staying here for work and have leave before 8am, that is a bit difficult if you want a nice big breakfast as breakfast doesn't start until 8, but they were very good to us as the staff were very helpful...

As before we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff, checked in and shown to our room which as before was lovely. When we ventured downstairs for dinner we were greeted by a delightful young lady (Becky I...

My husband and I visited last Sunday (pre booked Sunday lunch) as we wanted to dine elsewhere from our hotel restaurant. The pub itself is very welcoming visually and the staff were really friendly. We had to wait for our table (as we turned up slightly too early) and sat outside in the little garden which was pleasant. The 3...

Arriving without a table reservation we were guided to the middle section of the pub where a mix of tables were arranged. With our backs to the log fire we were grateful to be accommodated and even more grateful when I was allowed to sample a couple of real ales I hadn't tried before. Settling at our table after a...

This was a lovely Inn for a two night winter break. There is plenty of character with exposed beams, log fires and very friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable but being at the front, did have a lot of traffic noise in the early morning. The bathroom is quite small with a somewhat unusual layout but there was...
