Hotel de Union was our very comfortable base while doing some ski touring in the area. The owner and his wife were very friendly, the hotel was clean and the food in the evening was delicious. Breakfast was also good but it would have been nice to have the option of something a bit more substantial ie. eggs. The bathroom...

We visited here one night only when passing through the area. Reception is friendly and to the point. Hotel is small and tucked away in a side street of this small town. Lovely view of the mountains. We were able to park in one of two parking places in front of the hotel as we were leaving before 09.00 the...

We were cycling the Via Francigena and our arrival at Orsieres was somewhat traumatic. I caught my leg with my pedal just below the village in Sembrancher and had to have 14 stitches in my right leg! The owner was very sympathetic and helpful, It was immediately reassuring to be in such a supportive hotel. Whilst the hotel looks a...

"Old school" in that the owners were extremely helpful, friendly and ran a great little hotel. On arrival the village was very quiet and the hotel is tucked on a side street and looks a bit old fashioned but a warm welcome, BIG single room with very comfortable bed and large bathroom made the first night after a long journey...

The hotel staff made us feel instantly welcome when we arrived. The owner speaks excellent English and his lovely partner makes up for a little less English with persistence in trying to help and friendliness. We had a beautiful breakfast here each morning before hitting the slopes and had a lovely home cooked dinner here one night too. Nice big...

We stayed one night in this hotel and had two rooms for us and our two children. It looks a bit old fashioned, but it has wifi and has very clean rooms. When you open the window you hear the quieting river downstairs. Very relaxing. We could not enjoy the restaurant since this was closed on Monday, but looking at...

Stayed there 1 night before cycling across the Gran San Bernard pass. Arrived under pouring rain and the staff tried their best to help out. Old fashioned hotel with some surprises: hi-tech iPod docks and LCD tv in every room, great wifi connection. We also had a very good dinner in the hotel's restaurant

This is a great place to stay in a relatively out of the way small town. The manager is friendly and informative, and speaks good English. The rooms, while slightly old fashioned are a good size with comfortable beds and good quality very clean en-suite bathrooms. The upper rooms also have excellent views. There is a bar and restaurant, and...
