We really liked the furnishings and decor of our room. We had a desk, chair, coffee table, and wardrobe in a small room then a larger bedroom area. It was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very nice too. The parking lot is a bit small, but nice. If it is crowded, there is public...

My wife and I stayed here for several days after rave reports from good friends who had stayed many times before. Although the welcome by the owners and help with our baggage was great the rest of thew stay did not live up to expectations. Our room was on the top floor up 35 uneven steps on a spiralling staircase...

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, I'm sorry if you spent a disappointed Stay, but don't spend in a 12th and 16th Century Hotel Restaurant, if you want an easy access to your room, it's well specified in our web site we have no lift. Usually we have no problem with our wifi, perhaps your internet connection was blocked by your internet...

During our road trip through Normandy we were looking for a small hotel with character that could act as a base to explore the area. St. Martin definitely didn't disappoint. The climb to the top up the spiral stone staircase was a great touch and the restaurant with vaulted ceilings and wonderful food served as great end to our day....

We were looking for somewhere to stay for our last night in France within a few miles of the ferry back to Portsmouth. We were prepared to use even a Hotel B&B (not knocking them, we've used them, they're basic but good value for money) but nothing near enough. Widening my trawl, I came across this hotel. The price was...

This hotel was really worth the climb to the top floor! ENGLISH spoken by the two sons that run it. Food absolutely to die for at dinner. Attention to customers needs excellent. It was a real touch of French living here.

I fully recommend this mini hotel running by one family. Unforgettable location in small city of Normandy. Very attentive staff (in fact, all of them are members of one family), very good restaurant. Atmosphere in the city like paradise - flowers all around the streets and yards. WiFi free and good standard. Just abt. 10 km driving to the beach....

I loved this Hotel, typical of the Logis one used to see everywhere in France, the rooms are a little quirky and the walls a bit thin but everything worked and were perfectly clean; and the welcome was warm and friendly. I thought the restaurant was wonderful providing excellent quality food at a reasonable price in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere,...

The St. Martin Hotel is in a building from the 1600s. The outside blends with the town and the Chateau near the town square. The hotel is quaint and convenient to the D-Day landing beaches. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in early June to visit the D-Day beaches, museums, and cemeteries. The reservations are kept the old-fashioned way:...

Loved our stay at Hostelerie St. Martin. Looked for a small town experience and found a treasure. Part of a Historical building surrounding a chateau in a quaint old town near Bayeaux and Normandy beaches. The Staff was fabulous, dinner delicious at a great price . Bed was average but room was charming. Would definitely recommend it!

Rented a family room with two doubles and a single, the single bed around the corner from the main room and all by itself (served as a second bedroom). Was very nice for my older daughter to have a "room" of her own. Hotel/restaurant staff were great, minimal language barriers as most had a working knowledge of English combined with...
