Only live 15mins away - can't believe we haven't been before. Absolutely stunning Sunday lunch with choice of turkey, beef or pork. All the meat fell apart-totally spoilt with huge portions! :D beautiful.

Large traditional building. Friendly staff, good food in generous portions and large bar with some real cask ales. Pool table. We enjoyed delicious roast beet dinner and full English Breakfast. We had a good nights sleep, in a large, comfortable double bedroom. Tea, coffee and kettle in room. En-suite with a nice selection of toiletries.

This is a pub/restaurant with a handful of rooms above. I arrived wet and bedraggled much later than I expected. The kitchen was closed but they would see what they could do. I went to my room to clean some of the road grime off and returned to a great pie and mash. Nice bedroom with all you would expect....

We stopped here on the to Lake Vernwey for sunset photos and it was the perfect stop. After trying somewhere close by and feeling very unwelcome we left to come here and I'm so glad we did. The staff and even locals in the pub were so kind and friendly :) When the food came we were pleasantly surprised with...

We decided to try their Sunday dinners after recommendations from friends. We have a caravan nearby so aren't in Llansantfraid during the winter months. This hotel has bult up a reputation of serving excellent Sunday dinners. I have been twice now and haven't been disappointed at all! Four succulently cooked, fall-apart slices of beef, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and...

We have Sunday Dinner here every Sunday. Why? Because we love it. Excellent portions, always has the same high standard and amazing service from the moment you walk in. Oh and if you like a good pudding then you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Arrived late at night and couldn't get in. Eventually, the door was opened by a man working the night shift, who doesn't actually work there. He explained that the person getting the rooms ready (who also appeared to be working there, but didn't actually work there) didn't prepare the room properly and hadn't cleaned up the dog hairs after the...
