I admit I was disappointed when we drove up to the hotel. However once I went inside the lobby and saw the view of the ocean, I was fine. The hotel is definitely made for water sports. No carpet anywhere (thank goodness) and everything is waterproof. Try to stay up on the highest floor. The views are awesome and the... More

Quaint place, very friendly staff, good food, great view of the beach and the sun sets... what more could you ask for?! They provide transportation to and from the port and Aharen Beach (for ¥250 each way). They have rental snorkeling gear. There's also a small shop with snacks and little souvenirs, and some libations too! No complaints!

Amazing short trip from oki! Although they have goggles to rent, bring your own! We swam with sea turtles right next to the hotel. Also book the kayak/snorkel excursion with Ryu from Arhen beach. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay. The Arhen beach has more of a night life/bar scene but it's only a 5 minute taxi. The marine... More

This is a little gem of a property in a beautiful location on Tokashiki. Our family of 4 stayed for 2 full days 1 night in September. Tokashiku Beach is absolutely beautiful and a great family beach. The snorkeling is great. The hotel offers marine activities and rental gear for all of your beach needs. They even have specially equipped... More

Looking for a peaceful gateway to a place where the beaches are comfortable, water is crystal clear, and the ocean is filled with sea life; Tokashiku Marine Village is the prefect place. Outstanding diving, snorkeling, sea exploring, and shell picking. The hotel staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. From the time you exit the boat, they... More

My girlfriend and I spent 5 weeks in Japan in August 2013 and our stay at the Marine Village on Tokashiku was one of the highlights. The staff is wonderful, the food is good and the location is simply amazing. We swam snorkled and saw sea turtles just a few metres from the beach. I will definitely return at some... More

This hotel at Tokashiku beach is good for relaxing. The beach is just excellent and you have an excellent possbility to see the big turtles swimming there. And if you want to see the turtles closer go out for snorkeling you might just end up seeing the turtle swimming just below you as happened to my girlfriend. The hotel has... More

We spent two nights at the Tokashiku Marine Village in early May. I have mixed feelings about this place because we have visited Tokashiki Island before and stayed on Aharen beach. This time, we wanted to experience Tokashiku beach instead and I have to say that it is very beautiful but isolated. The hotel is located right on the beach,... More

The location of this hotel is fantastic because it's so peaceful, the sunsets are beautiful, and the water so wonderfully clear. We chose this place because of the snorkeling opportunities and the good possibility of seeing turtles, and it delivered on both counts. The hotel is only average, though. They have a friendly pick-up service to and from the hotel,... More

“Ask a room from highest floor with a view to the see. It is nice to watch the sunrise or sunset from the balcony when you do not feel of going to beach for doing it. Also as the rooms are not very big I would recommend trying out the Japanese style room. Sleeping in the mattress on the tatami floor gives more space to the room. The room can easily fit two parents and two children that way. And ask for more mattress if the tatami floor feels too hard to sleep on.”

“Snorkel out past the surfboard with Japanese writing for the best clearest snorkeling. Closer to shore is where you will see the turtles.”
