We wanted to visit Tsuwano as it is an historical castle town somewhat off the beaten path. There are several places to stay, but we thought we would try Wataya based on the descriptions on the various travel websites. After the earthquake, Dragonfly Tours, our Japan Tour company, rearranged us to stay here. I stayed here for 2 nights while on a Dragonfly tour. The Ryokan is located about a 5 minute walk from the train station.
