I read about the Niki Ride program in the Wall Street Journal a few months ago. I booked three nights at the hotel, with two days of Niki Ride. This hotel is a very special property. Located in the woods, with mountain views in three directions from carious points on the property, it is family owned and thus run with...

Friendly staff welcomed me (E/J bilingual). My room had a private outdoor onsen/hot springs tub; the best way to pamper oneself. The aroma body massage was heavenly. The morning walking tour, a tree house, tennis court, restaurants, a library, fishing, fruits picking, or just relax in the room.... would offer a pleasant vacation for everyone in the family. Multiple-day stay...

Niki Club was so unique & different, a peaceful oasis from our few days in Tokyo. Mikio helped greet us & ensure that we had a good overview of property by giving us a complete walk thru the forest oath & all the buildings. He was so kind & gracious, truly representing service.

We were with a group of friends and stayed in the deluxe Western style rooms, enjoyed an excellent western style dinner and a a very interesting Japanese style breakfast. Other reviewers have give details of the ambience and facilities. Suffice to say the gardens are superb. We were there in the autumn and the leaves were at their best. To...

Love the place. If you want a quiet serene location near the mountains this is the place. We managed to stay in both the western and Japanese rooms both have pros and cons. JAPANESE ROOMS Pros: Nice Tatami room and interesting internal architecture solid timber beams etc. and located in the a very zen like part of the old building....

Visiting this beautiful resort in Nasu at least once a year made us 'regulars' a.k.a. 'frequent visitors' for the place. Weekend reservations are still difficult to get, but once I am able to make one, I'm on the road already. The tranquility the Niki Club offers is superb! No other place has a beautiful forest, well-equipped facility and a nice...

Fantastic! Service is impeccable. The staff speak English. The outside onsen is breathtaking. The food is great and the wine, is incredible. Beautiful grounds. Hard to get to, however if you have the chance you should take it! No wifi!

The Niki Club is a truly special retreat. Ideally visited by train with a "Niki" bus / car collection, we chose stupidly to drive, however there is convenience in having car especially to visit the local Nasu Safari Park (very recommendable if you have kids). There are two wings, we chose to stay in the "East" Wing, designed by Terence...

I went there with a friend in May. The place is in a beautiful valley, the building is fantastic. We really enjoyed food and hot springs. Their food is kind of French Style Japanese Kaiseki Ryori, which is amazing. The outside hot spring is in the forest, you can't miss that.

My wife and five-month-old child stayed one night at Niki Club on August 7. We chose a Japanese-style room with futon beds. The large wooden bathtub in the room is quite a pleasure and had a creek view. For those who have an interest in modern architecture with Japanese touches it is a treat. The outdoor onsen has a view...
