Nestled on Seragaki Island, the Hyatt Regency Okinawa is celebrated for its spacious rooms with stunning views and impeccable cleanliness, as guests often note the well-maintained facilities. The attentive and friendly staff receive high praise for their professionalism, contributing to the hotel's atmosphere of stylish elegance and comfort.
While some travelers mention the location is a bit remote, necessitating taxi rides, the hotel's array of praised amenities, including beautiful pools and family-friendly features, often offsets this inconvenience. However, opinions on value are mixed, with some guests finding the costs for certain services steep.

The room is large and comfortable, but the facilities are relatively small compared to some of the same type of resorts and are suitable for Travellers who go out often, or just want to stay at the hotel. The hotel's borderless pool is beautiful.
A young male staff member who was in charge of the reception at the door would speak Chinese and be very polite. We choose passenger parking, he will recognize us, parking and pickup can be handled quickly each time. We are very grateful for his help.
We selected the room only requires a simple cleaning, the hotel will provide an expense of 3000 yen per room, so our parking fee is equal to free, and there is a balance to buy something in the store. There are no convenience shops near the hotel, although there is a retail shop, but there are fewer snacks.

In order to avoid the crowds during Golden Week, my family of three stayed here for four nights from Thursday, April 25th. This was my first time staying at a Hyatt hotel, so I was nervous, but the staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the restaurant was delicious. Overall, it was a very satisfying four days.
As it was Golden Week, there were various events held within the facility, such as lobby concerts of Ryukyu folk songs and Eisa, fireworks, and night pools, so we enjoyed it very much.
The only thing that bothered me was the following, so I gave it a rating of 4.
- Ordering additional amenities from the room (I was told that I could request them using the QR code in the room, but no matter how many times I tried, I got an error and was unable to do so. Instead, I made two requests by phone during my stay, but both times I received something different from what I requested)
- The free WiFi in the room was weak and cut out quickly (my room was on the top floor, the 7th floor), so I had to tether my PC using my own mobile phone.
This time I was with my 5-year-old daughter, and she seemed very satisfied with the huge outdoor and indoor pools every day.
There is also a Kids Hyatt where children's activities are available, with different programs each day such as painting shisa, making herbarium bread, and exciting experiences on the beach (all for a fee), which we enjoyed very much.
Highly recommended for families with children.
As for the location, Onna Village has many delicious cafes and shops, so it is very convenient for those who rent a car to enjoy things other than the restaurants in the facility.
This time, the room price was high because it was Golden Week, so next time I would like to stay during a long holiday period.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The entrance, hallway, and room were all clean, and when I entered the room, I couldn't hear any outside noise and was able to spend a quiet time. I brought two children under the age of 10. I tend to get excited and make a lot of noise, but I didn't have to worry about my voice coming from the hallway being heard in other rooms, so that was a good thing.
There is no problem if you are traveling with children as there is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and the sea, but I thought that the price and atmosphere were suitable for relaxing with adults.
The sink in the room was high and difficult for small children to reach and wash. The dryer had a good amount of airflow and was very satisfying.
There is nothing nearby due to the location, so you should spend a relaxing time at the hotel. The hotel's parking lot is very small and I think it would be very difficult to park anything other than light vehicles.
Since the price is reasonable, you can stay there without worrying about anything.

Wonderful property. A little out of the way away from some of the livelier towns but you're really coming here to relax. We had a great suite that had 1 full bath and 1 half bath, and a rollaway bed in the living room, which nicely accommodated my elderly father-in-law who came along with us. The nice surprise which I had missed in the reviews is that there is a modern laundry room on property (1st floor next to the gym on the hotel side, and 1st floor in the Beach House building as well). There were plenty of machines, you pay via credit card using a QR code, and you can submit an email address to be notified once your wash or dry cycle is done. This is super convenient for us as we were on a long trip and packed only enough clothes for a carry on suitcase so we did laundry every few days. It wasn't the cheapest but certainly worth it for the convenience. As a Globalist, I was given breakfast at the club which was ok (selection was limited), and the option to go to the 1st floor restaurant for the full buffet breakfast which had slightly more options for 1500 yen more. We tried that the first day and opted to stick with the club next few days which was just fine for us. The property is beautiful, and I wished we had taken the kayaks out to explore the coves nearby as it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Located in Seragaki, Onna Village, this hotel is dotted with popular cafes and restaurants, making it very convenient to use. There are also many beautiful beaches in Onna Village nearby, which are very relaxing. Of course, the hotel also has a quiet private beach with gentle waves, so you can enjoy marine activities and families with small children can play safely. The rooms are stylish with wooden and iron furnishings, compact yet clean and relaxing, and the water pressure in the bathroom shower was perfect, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also very substantial and delicious.

This is a hotel where you can invite friends and family with peace of mind and be satisfied no matter when they come. Time flows in an elegant manner that you won't find at other hotels, and even those who would normally be noisy can enjoy the Hyatt atmosphere and soak in the afterglow. This is a hotel where you can experience luxury.

Even when I arrived at the hotel, the staff didn't greet me even though they were right in front of me. I stayed for 3 nights and there were many such problems.
They sell ice cream, but there is no freezer, so it's better not to buy it.
There is no washing machine, so I don't recommend staying for multiple nights.
You have to wait a long time for breakfast.
You can't get dinner unless you make a reservation early, and the nearby restaurants outside are full, so I recommend making a reservation early.
The pool and the sea were nice.
The food (Japanese food) was delicious.
The rooms quickly accumulate dust, so I recommend daily housekeeping.
Dust accumulated after a day's absence.

Everything from reception after arrival to being given a tour was extremely smooth.
We also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the beach during our stay, which are worthy of the name of a resort hotel.
Even the changing rooms in the hotel were kept clean and we did not feel any discomfort when using them.
The breakfast was also excellent compared to famous Japanese hotels, both in terms of variety and taste, and became a good memory of our honeymoon.
If we have the opportunity to go to Okinawa again, we would definitely like to use this hotel.

When checking in, we were greeted by very polite staff who gave us a 2pm checkout. The late afternoon Sun just happened to be gleaming through the wooden grids lining the lobby windows and casting tranquil silhouettes on the wall. We instantly felt like we were on vacation. The hotel decor was chic yet homey, featuring generous use of wood and stone. The corner suite was thoughtfully designed with windows offering full ocean view on both sides (one corner of the building only). Everything about the place made us very comfortable, including the attentive staff, surrounding amenities and hotel lounge. Housekeeping personnel even took off their shoes when entering to clean the room, it made us feel at ease with taking our shoes off indoors too (yes we’re Asian). If we have to be nit-picky, the lounge closes quite early at 8pm, whereas most places would stay open until 10pm. Overall, this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and would highly recommend.

We stayed here right after the typhoon passed.
It was a little quiet, but the number of guests increased day by day and the place became lively, so it was a very good stay.
The facilities and equipment are still new, so it was not only clean, but also easy to use and well thought out.
It was good for families with children that there was a washing area in the bathroom. However, the shower can only be turned on and off, and the water volume cannot be adjusted, so it may be a little difficult to use.
The closet was open type and easy to use, but it was nice that there was a partition in the room so it could be hidden.
The drawers were large and we were able to store our luggage securely.
There was only one chair in the room, so when we ordered room service, we had trouble finding a seat. This may have been because the sofa was turned into a bed.
Also, the air conditioning didn't work well at first, but perhaps because the temperature outside wasn't that hot, we changed the temperature setting and it was fine.
The hallway outside the room was wide, so it felt spacious and nice.
The breakfast was very good, and as other reviews have said, the French toast was very delicious.
It was nice that egg dishes and steaks were cooked on the spot, but there was a long wait time, so I think some improvement is needed.
What was disappointing was that,
Even though there were few guests when it was quiet, the staff were just gathered together in the shop and lobby, so it would have been nice if they had greeted and shown people around.
Also, at check-in, there were many points where the explanation was unclear. I could have understood it if I had read the guide myself.
In the restaurant, it seemed like many of the staff were inexperienced. That in itself can't be helped, but I think it would have been better if they had explained things to staff who were new to the place before the guests came in.
Overall, the facilities were new, easy to use, and clean, which was nice. The staff were left to their own devices (in a good way), so it was nice to have a relaxed stay.

There are two beaches at the Seragaki Hyatt regency, one is inside the facility but is a very small beach and and another one is accross a the bridge just in front of the beach houses that one is bigger! if you want to go to another beach you can go by walk but is far Manza beach, take 30 min by walk and night time is not safe to walk cause is very dark the road no lights almost you can't see what is in front of you sometime!if you would like to walk in the morning you can do that it is Safe!!! or if you wish to go somehwere else is better you rent a car or a bycicle,if you want to walk along the beach of the hotel night time you can do that is safe! cause you will be inside the Hotel property private beach! The pool close open at 9:00am to 20:00 pm around 18:30-19:00 you can see a beautiful sunset, the beaches are always empty, the familes with kids like staying at the pool side, sometime the sea of the beach regressed so in the the morning the level of the sea is very low untill 15:00 pm after that raise again and the water is clear and nice! there is no deink service on the beaches, is better to buy it inside the hotel at the kiosk or outside at convenience store! eat iniside the hotel is expensive but if you have a car or get a taxi with 1,000-2,000 yen you can eat near are many restaurants! also good yakiniku,or steak house or italian! Breakfast is not served by buffet in this time of Convid, the breakfast is served by trails look like when you eat inside a hopsital or at a office canteen! is ugly to see that! and the not so many choices! the rooms are clean, chose a lagoon view is better or ocean view so that you can also see the sunset from the room! i stayed at the room 435 it was very nice and from my balcony i could see a nice sunset! and around 3:00 or 4:00 am you can see a beautiful huge moon set too, a red moon sometime! hope you find what are you looking forward!
