This was an absolute find! I stayed here for 6 nights based on reviews I read on Trip Advisor and I was not disappointed. The owners cannot do enough to help, from advising on bus and train timetables (despite limited English) to driving guests every day to the ski lifts. Very reasonable rates. A very comfy, warm room (I didn't...

We stayed here for over a week in January. The hosts are just lovely but have very limited English (thank goodness for translator apps!). They will drive you to Happo One ski area, and if you go elsewhere they'll drop you off at the bus stop. On that note, bus stops are close by and easy to use. Happo town...

This hotel is located in Wando and is centrally located. If you're looking for something more homely and not so much like a standard boring hotel room this place is perfect. Location: It's easy to walk from the hotel to the bus/information centre (about 5-10minutes), good places to eat (world food trucks along side the road, ramen ect). Or stay...

Comfortable rooms, spacious rooms, good food, clean bathrooms, nice bath/shower. Most of all, best customer experience of all time. Included serving food, driving to the rental shop, letting us store our luggage even after checking out, etc.

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, good location in Wadano, and the owner, Katsumi, is amazing. Like other reviewers have said, the owners go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time in hakuba. The snow wasn't great when we were there, but we still had a great time. Katsumi arranged ski rental, dropped us off at Happo-one and picked us...

This place is perfect. The owners are just so lovely and do everything they can to make your stay great. They drove us to the lifts and bus stops and we were able to buy discount ski passes here which saved us having to line up at the ski field. The location is really nice it is in a quieter...

From driving us to shuttle terminal for daily ski connections , and picking up . They will prepare perfect Japanese evening meals should you desire , or drive you to restaurants and pick up. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights this January (2014) during the peak season and we were really pleased with our choice. The hotel is family-run and they are keen to provide you with whatever they possibly can to make your holiday easy. The rooms were relatively big and comfortable - especially compared to the room our friends...

Stayed here for two nights.. First night we arrived quite late at around 7 and the owner (the father) kindly waited for us at the hakuba train station to pick us up to the hotel, and after we settled down he also drove us to the town to grab some dinner and left us his name card and asked us...

My partner and I stayed at Petit Hotel Hamac for 10 days this January (2013). I can't tell you how much we loved it here! The place is run by a gorgeously kind couple and their son. The place is clean and comfortable and they will take you to organize snow gear hire if you didn't bring your own. They...
