Everyone in the world who wants to run a hotel/lodging should come here and see how it is done. Everything is superb, from when you are greeted at the bus station to when you are dropped off by the warm hosts, Nao and Kimi. Even though there are good restaurants 5-10 minute walk away, I recommend eating here every night....

As with previous reviewers we picked the 'Eternal Flame' based on Tripadvisor reviews. They were certainly not wrong. Nao and Kimmi could not do enough to make sure our skiing holiday was great. The breakfasts were good and Kimmi's dinners were sensational. The lodge is warm and cozy with a very welcoming communal sitting room. It is well located and...

I have been meaning to write something since we got back in January so better late than never. I choose to stay here based entirely on the trip advisor reviews here. Never before had a read such amazing reviews so I had to check it out to see what the fuss was all about. From the second we pulled up...

I chose this place based on other Trip Advisor reviews and was in no way disappointed! The hosts are fantastic, offering personal advice and tips on which restaurants to eat at, how to catch the bus and trains (with timetable information and pricing) and day trips if not skiing. The breakfasts were tasty and filling and they are very attentive...

Just had the most amazing few days staying at Eternal Flame. The hosts Nao and Kimmi delivered incredible service. They were fun, informative and helpful and Kimmi's cooking is superb. Had a hearty 3-4 course breakfast each day and dinner there one night which included her famous smoked roast pork dish which was the most delicious thing I've tasted for...

They provided us with discount lift passes, recommendations and reservations on the best places to eat dinner (tell them what you're after and they'll resommend a place...

My husband and i went here for our honeymoon over Christmas. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is absolutely lovely, breakfast was 4/5 courses and and excellent quality. It allowed you to be ready for your day skiing - we normally didnt need lunch as we were so full!! We...

Booked this accommodation via email and having heard some less than great reviews of B&B accommodation in Japan arrived feeling a little unsure of how it would all go. Right from the initial phone call to be collected from the train station knew we had made a great decision. Nao, Kimmi and staff could not do enough to assist us....

This place is truly home away from home. Nao +Kimi work day and night to keep the place at its best and anything you need, they will organize for you straight away. Breakfast is great (each day you get something different) and each room has a dvd player. It is 1 minute away from the bus stop that connects takes...
