Mr. Yoshida at Hotel Hakuba was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The Hotel was clean, including onsen and restaurant. Stayed 4 nites and the buffet got a little boring, with repeat items. Overall food was good. Equipment rental shop had older worn equipment. I'd check with other shops if you need to rent gear. Convenience store about an...

We have stayed here twice now and will stay again. Parking and a storage facility next to the parking lot make it easy for coming and going on those cold days. Good variety at the buffet for breakfast and dinner makes it great for kids and the onsen bath is perfect after a day of skiing. Nothing special about the...

We recently stayed at Hotel Hakuba for 3 nights in December 2014. The hotel has an onsen (indoor and semi-outdoor) and provides breakfast and dinner on the property - perfect for relaxing evenings after a long day of skiing. We used the onsen every single night and food at the buffet table was great. The staff were very helpful but...

Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to ski/snowboard in the area. With multiple free shuttles located directly on the hotels doorstep - you're perfectly located to visit all the mountains, and not just one. Breakfast and dinners offer great value as well. Staff were fantastic - even with our limited Japanese. Would definately stay here again, and recommend.

We stayed here two nights during our 3 week Japan trip. My son went snowboarding for a day. The room, onsen, breakfast etc, were perfect. A special mention for the front desk staff. Great service and attention to detail. We were pleasantly surprised, one sometimes forgets, great service still exists !

Hotel hakuba was a great stay for myself and my husband. They have free shuttles that come multiple times of the day to take you to whichever ski resort you are going to. The shuttles ran perfectly on time - to the minute! The staff were great, speak English quite well which we were very greatful for as I have...

We stayed here for four nights while skiing at the local slopes. The hotel is a gem, the front of house staff are eager to please, the room is spacious for Japanese standards and clean. The shower and bathtub are a bit small but you can soak after a long day on the slopes. The breakfast is good and is...

Fantastic little hotel. Twin rooms are large and roomy. Staff are very helpful and the hotel runs a Ski/Snowboard hire business next door, very convenient albeit slightly more expensive than other hire places. Boots, board, pants, jacket, goggles and gloves were 13,000 yen for three days. Breakfast and Dinner package very affordable with a great spread of Japanese and Western...

We stayed at Park Hyatt Tokyo before Hotel Hakuba and were worried about the contrasts between these two hotels. However, it was better than we expected. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Onsen was a must after a full day's skiing. We definitely would love to revisit again in the future.
