I don't know how to begin really but I've only had amazing experiences in this hotel. The best part about Hotel Fusui is of course their large, spacious, and super relaxing rooms where you get a breathtaking view of Lake Shikaribetsu. I was there during the last day of the ice festival and was able to explore the igloo village...

We stayed at Hotel Fusui in February for one night for the Shikaribetsu Festival. The hotel is definitely dated and can use a lot of remodeling and updating. But considering they are right on the lake, I don't think they'll need to spend money since travelers are limited to the two hotels…. Hotel Fusui and Hotel Fukuhara. The bus transit...

Our room has no bed, tatami only. But room is big enough so we still could walk around after they put out the tatami. Slow wi-fi in the room. View of lake and ice village, which is great! Has ice maze, ice bar, can make ice cup your self and fill with drink. Has ice chapel, igloos, worth visiting.

Thanks to the driver of the hotel, he came to pick us up through the heavy snow took an hour to reach the hotel. there's nothing to enjoy at the hotel , since we came too early, the igloo and the ice bar would be opened on the following weekend. However we quite enjoyed the atmostphere, cause there's no snow...

We stayed here in Dec 2015 when the lake was not completely frozen. Hence, the ice activities were not yet available. Nonetheless, the place was very serene and peaceful (We were only 2 of the 6 or so guests staying in the hotel that night). We were also given a free upgrade to the room in the new wing with...

Good overnight stay in an onsen hotel, just at the shore of Lake Shikaribetsu. We booked a room with 10 mats. We have 5 adults and 1 child (5-year old). The room size is just nice. Our room faces the lake, and we could see the ice village from our room. It was beautiful. Car parking was free. Our room...

The hotel is pretty dated and worn-out (esp the public area) but it's a good place to stay during the Igloo village period. There's an outdoor hot spring tub at the centre of the frozen lake, alongside a few igloos for rental, an ice bar where you can order drinks in ice glasses, and weekend singing performance in the ice...

Tatami room with nice window view of frozen lake. You can go visit the 4-5 igloos just 5 min walk from the lobby. Have a drink at the Ice Bar. There's also an outdoor onsen in one of the igloos. Overall there wasn't much to do. Room was typical tatami room, well aged like the hotel. Wifi available but not...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights en-route to Shiretoko National Park in February 2013. This hotel is perched right on the edge of a frozen lake. All rooms have beautiful views across the lake to the surrounding hills and peaks. We had a Japanese style room which was very comfortable and included a small sunny sitting area looking...
