We can only echo the reviews already made on here. Peter and Kathleen were Superb Hosts who really put themselves out for us, making sure we had everything we needed in order to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and indeed memorable. The Homestay idea is superb and gives guests that extra flexibility to make use of these facilities if they...

We stayed with Kathleen and Peter for three nights, and after breakfast each day, cooked by Peter, we visited wonderful villages, scenic Snowdonia mountains and forests, ancient castles and tearooms along the way. Returning to the B&B, we were able to use the kitchentte in the guests' area to prepare a light snack for dinner and to make tea. They...

My wife and I have stayed at Tregarth Homestay several times now. The owners are extremely hospitable and always on hand to tell you the best places to visit. The location is wonderful - very authentic, with nice views of the sea and mountains. You certainly feel like you're in Wales which you wouldn't necessarily get if you stay in...

Very warm and hearty welcome, clean and guest-oriented facilities (such as a mini-kitchen and a washing machine), great breakfast and a lovely garden with a fine view, peaceful nights with complete silence and mornings with birds' chirping!

A wonderful, friendly, helpful, warm, and welcoming place to stay. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. As a family of three (including 1child who is now a teenager) we have years of experience staying in B&Bs, and this one ranks at the very top of our list. Everything is clean and comfortable, there's...

The house is very accessible if you want to walk or climb in the Ogwen valley, Tryfan, Glydders, Idwal &,Carnedds, & it doesn't take long to drive into Bangor or Caernarfon or into Llanberis valley to get to Snowdon. The view from the kitchen across the Menai straits is lovely along with the birds on the feeders. The guest longe...

Lovely location and wonderful breakfast. Car parking was a real pain when we arrived and the room was really cold! However, there was lots of interesting material and the couple were very friendly!

We are very sorry that your room was cold, you should have told us at the time (as suggested in the room browser) and we would have happily given you an extra heater. We had mistakenly thought you booked a double room and heated that instead! Parking can be a problem if other guests don't park tidily but it is...

I'm way overdue on this review! I stayed here for about three nights in October 2008 while attending a conference at Bangor University--about 10 minutes door-to-door from this charming lodging (which should be listed among Bangor accommodations). Peter and Kathleen were superb hosts, very accommodating without overwhelming this B&B newbie. Although my schedule meant I hardly had any time to...

We don't usually book to stay in the same place for the whole two weeks, but we thought the Homestay idea looked a good one, so we decided we would - and we were very pleased we did! It was close to all the places we wanted to visit, and made an excellent base for our trips. Kathleen and Peter...
