My husband and I stayed at the Manglar Lodge for my birthday. It is a small, nicely landscaped lodge with an excellent restaurant. You should split meals. Sandwiches are huge. The hotel is beside a river leading to the ocean. You can walk a couple of blocks on the street to get to the beach. We were thrilled to see...

It was elegant, confortable, and with excellent service. Nice place to relax, taking long walks at the beach. I´ve thought on booking the whole facility for a family retreat on next holy week. Totaly recommended.

We had a terrible experience with this hotel. We travel extensively and have never experienced such disregard for our well being as with this stay. The power went out during the day and stayed out throughout the night. The owner/manager left without any notification to us and no explanation. He locked everything up including a gate to exit from the...

Small clean friendly lodge with surprisingly good food at the end of a dead end, partially dirt road off the InterAmerican Highway. Shares a small pool with shade and a restaurant with a bigger, not as nice place, Bayview. Be aware of 18 tides on Pacific coast. Surf crashes into sea wall at high tide. Walk 300 yards over rocky/sand...

This is a quiet little place at the end of the road off the PanAm Highway. It was peaceful and relaxing, a good respite after three days in Panama City. There was a bar and restaurant on the premises; we partook of the beer, but the bar/restaurant closed before 8:30 the Saturday night we were there. We ate dinner at...
