We love this spot! A quaint and very cozy boutique hotel with amazing food! Owners Maria and Ivan are the best hosts. Incredibly helpful, friendly and very welcoming. My husband Duane and I were searching for a place for dinner, with our friends who were visiting from Canada. We arrived at 7pm and Maria and Ivan whipped up a huge...

We finished our beach day in Manglar Lodge. We were looking for "pescado frito y patacones", but a friend recommended this restaurant. We had Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, and a few craft beers. Everything was delicious, it is greasy, fried food, but delicious. Service was good too. We might return for lunch instead: too heavy for dinner. Nice setting....

We stayed one night here on an escape from the city. It's quite a pleasant place- the restaurant is homely and cosy with nice board games and decent food. Our room was fine. The decoration could do with being freshened up and there were some small hairs on some of the pillows which we removed (the pillows- not the hairs!)....

What a wonderful gem in this part of Panama! We wanted a few day vacation and found the perfect place in El Palmar. We got there early, and that was no problem we got our keys right away. The owner gave us a upstairs room with a balcony. The room itself is a piece of art! One wall was floor...

Small relaxed hotel, great for a getaway or surf stop. A little hard to find without a navigation system, as it is off the beaten track at the end of the street. Good hearty breakfast and value for money stay. 4 rooms means it is fairly quite, however there was a party close by with trance music on the Saturday...

I've never felt so welcome!! It was like home away from home. Very beautiful and well kept. There were several beaches and little restaurants you could walk to daily. Everyday was an adventure. It's located in a residential area tucked away in a little corner. It's very quiet and peaceful. There's a restaurant/bar downstairs and the 4 rooms are upstairs....
